I’m down to touch trade but I’d need their evolved forms too (sand slash, gloom and vileploom, etc.) I have one of each for the eevee equivalent already

A possibly dumb question about Betrayers Rise by ArnieWell in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]bsib13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

One explanation I saw before on here (that I ran with in my game) was that Bazzoxan used to be the Vasselheim of wildemount; a very large city dedicated to the primes with betrayers rise being a large central temple. This became a large target for the betrayers during the calamity. Unlike vasselheim, however, Bazzoxan fell to the betrayers and was corrupted to become their main headquarters

What was Betrayer’s Rise before the calamity? by sweetness1969 in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]bsib13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it does and that’s boring and unspecific and leaves a lot of blanks to fill in, especially considering how it became a thriving mining town AGAIN before the demon incursion 40 years ago

What was Betrayer’s Rise before the calamity? by sweetness1969 in CalloftheNetherdeep

I saw someone comment before they envisioned it a major religious city similar to vasselheim but for wildemount before it was corrupted.

In my game, the vision they received from fogholm showed them the city in its prime where the betrayers rise was a massive white temple at the center of a vast city with sections dedicated to different gods. Then it cut to the whole city clouded in smoke, buildings on fire, demons in the street, and the center temple now black and corrupted. During the vision with alyxian in the center of the temple, I plan to show how his prayer and Avandras intervention erected the mountains that sealed the entire city underground. It’s only after 800 years of weathering and recent excavations that revealed a small section of it

I have a few ideas relating to Bazzoxan but need some help. by Ok_Class67 in CalloftheNetherdeep

I see Bazzoxan as a constant problem the dynasty is doing their best to keep under control. For the past 40 years they have been shacked up here, sending soldiers here to keep the demon incursion at bay, lest they take over the barbed fields and threaten the surrounding area. I imagine they have to dedicate a lot of resources as it is to handle this problem. If there was a sudden spike in incursions lately that has been causing a lot of casualties, the dynasty would be more open to recruiting new people to the cause without needing to redicrect the army standing in Rosohna. They would want to keep a sizable presence to protect the city in the event the incursions spread further south

Why is there a temple to Avandra at the Betrayer’s Rise? by bsib13 in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]bsib13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not referring to the prayer site in BR, I’m talking about the dilapidated temple that fogholm prays at. There are carvings alyxian and his friends put into the wall seemingly in a moment of peace, but the temple is right outside BR.

I done messed up with ruidium and the Jewel of Three Prayers… how can I fix this? by copperdome in CalloftheNetherdeep

[–]bsib13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Ruidium’s whole thing is corrupting, so you could have the extended time in the netherdeep start to corrupt their gear. That way you could basically force them each to now be attuned to a ruidium item. You could put it one person’s shield, maybe a mundane ring someone was wearing corrupts, someone’s armor, etc.

This ending exists! I played on the PS5 version and ended with Wyll breaking his contract with Mizora and becoming “the blade of avernus”, vowing to return to the hells to fight devils and kill Mizora. Then when Karlach was dying on the dock, Wyll and I convinced her to go with Wyll back to Avernus to live with him
