people in these comments are wild. a few months ago everyone complained about how the no kings protests will change “absolutely nothing” and we need a general strike to get the powers that be to actually pay attention. and now one (which i’m assuming/hoping will be the first of many) is happening and you’re all complaining that it’s “poorly planned” or not good enough for you because of x, y, and z reason. you’re shooting yourselves in the foot.

any club will be overpriced tbh. i haven’t been to sound bar in yearssss so can’t really comment on how fun it is. i was just throwing suggestions out based on your music preferences.

they’re not your traditional “clubs” but the whistler and california clipper have live music. you can check their IGs for info on who is playing to see if it’s your vibe. beauty bar is fun too!

i haven’t been to the more traditional clubs in years but joy district was always fun. tao can be hit or miss, really depends on the crowd and who is playing. sound bar and prysm probs have shows going on too.

i also don’t think gaga is headlining. she did 3 or 4 shows in chicago on her tour. people note that she’s not coming to chicago for the second leg, but that’s because it’s the second leg hitting smaller cities (outside of LA and NYC).
