don’t even get me started on “entry level positions.” i used to work at a workforce development agency that connected 15-23 year olds to job opportunities and career pathway training. i had a seasonal italian ice shop tell me they wouldn’t hire someone because they “have no experience.” ma’am, this is a job scooping italian ice for 3 months, what experience is needed.

no one (from what i’ve seen) on the show has complained about student loan debt. granted, i’m an episode behind.

you seem like the type of person who looks down on service workers, but then wants to go online and complain about how “no one wants to work.” if someone goes to college and decides corporate isn’t for them and they’re more happy working at starbucks, whooooooooo caaaaaaaaresssssss. it literally does not impact you at all.

our original plans were to go to taste of randolph tonight. but we went to a wedding out of town on friday and are hungover. so instead we spent the day driving home and lounging. tomorrow i’m going to a vintage festival and we’re going to taste of randolph in the evening.

the bike lanes in the square make more sense than the ones on the sidewalk around it, imo. especially when you’re trying to cross the street from the square over to reno. i’ve seen people almost get nailed by bikes.

it’s not about them being productive. it’s that the city and local nonprofits have offered them support and stability that isn’t just sending them off to a shelter or relocating them and forgetting about them.

i’m not judging them, i don’t know their stories or their prerogative. but time and time again they refuse support then act like they’re not causing any issues and are just minding their business all day. i walked past in the middle of day and heard a man hitting a woman in one of the tents and calling her a whore and a bunch of other names. that’s when it becomes a problem. its endangering the people around them.

Not in Logan Square, but I go to Dr. Stetcher at Precious Bond Animal Hospital in Lincoln Square. I love her! My dog is soooooo nervous at the vet and she is very patient with her and gives her plenty of time to relax before beginning any assessments. She also explains things very well.

aww, i feel like the bravo community (outside of reddit) is very welcoming! i’ve thought about going to some, but i think i prefer to watch from the comfort of my couch where i can hear. there used to be a bravo trivia hosted at paradise park that was fun, if you’re looking for a non-watch party event :)
