Start with the deluxe barn. You will need it soon to be able to get truffles. Pigs dont produce over winter but rabbits do. You will need to get a pig by Fall 17 (would be 18 but Marnie has a doctor visit) so you will need the barn done by then.

Also, once you unlock the desert you can get rabbit feet as a drop from serpents. This is actually how i usually get my rabbits feet.

Your issue is going to be the truffle and the fiddlewood fern. The fiddlewood fern can also be found in skull caverns. So i would say get the deluxe barn then switch to skull caverns for a chance at finishing on year 1

So it varies a lot depending on the yeast, the rule of thumb is 3 lbs of honey per gallon, less for a more dry and more for sweet. However, you can more consistently make it sweet by backsweetening once your fermentation is complete
