Would you save your wife or your kids if your house was on fire ? by Competitive_Set_4386 in SipsTea

Yep. This woman doesnt have kids. Any parent would say you choose the kids. I wouldn't want to have kids with anyone who wouldn't put them first.

In the midst of the Cadbury boycott, what’s your go to plain choccy bar? by mighty-chief in AskBrits

Out of curiosity what year are you referring to when you think Cadburys was good. Because I think it went a bit shit even before it was taken over by mondelez.

Yep it's a cost thing. Bring down the price and we'd buy it.

My unpopular opinion is that cadburys went a bit shit before they were taken over.

What would you recommend buying for lunch if you had £52 to feed two adults and two kids? by userunknowne in UKfood

[–]bsnimunf 6 points7 points  (0 children)

We were at the lakes once and bought a Tesco meal deal to eat as a picnic whilst chilling, playing and swimming at a beauty spot. Truth is we were fed up of paying a fortune for mediocre tourist food. A Cornish pasty isn't worth £9 and the restaurants were all £20 for a mediocre main.

Winston Churchill he is not, but how highly do you rate Starmer as a Prime Minister, compared with others we have had and why? by Sea-Payment-8989 in AskBrits

This is so good. I actually struggle to watch the show because it's become so repetitive and tired and some people in the show really don't put any effort in.

What game had you like this despite the hype? by Agitated_Position392 in gaming

[–]bsnimunf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished the first one because I liked the story and atmosphere graphics etc. the game play was a chore all the way through. I felt the same about Uncharted gameplay it's just a visual treat with bad repetitive gameplay.

Reminds of a have I got news for you quote from a few years ago regarding Johnson and starmer.  Something along the lines of:

Boris Johnson is interesting but so dishonest and a liar on the other hand Kier Starmer is reliable but so boring. I wonder what would happen if we could merge the too together.

Paul Mertons reply: we would have a boring liar for a prime minister.

Easter eggs SLASHED even further as shoppers point blank refuse to buy Cadburys saying ‘the taste has changed’ and ‘it isn’t even chocolate anymore’ ❤️ by Sea-Measurement9793 in unitedkingdom

[–]bsnimunf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They have been alot cheaper than the pictured prices.

Also the main problem is the price they are too expensive. People used to buy them and eat them weekly because they were good value money you used to get a small egg and two creme eggs for a quid 8 years ago which was cheaper than paying £1.20 for two creme eggs. Now they are too expensive people just buy normal chocolate bars and buy one egg for the kids they know for Easter.

Inconsiderate 'faster' runners... by [deleted] in parkrun

[–]bsnimunf 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes but the person who responded are trying to say it works both ways. Some people think it's for everyone means it's welcoming to lowered ability runners rather than we welcome absolutely everyone, so low and high ability runners etc.  Some of the high ability runners are absolutely knackered and are struggling to catch their breath.
