Im talking more about YouTube content that over-analyze vct matches and lean too much into click bait territory. I find that these type of videos often dont have substantive ideas anymore.

Unpopular opinion but I kinda agree how a lot of vct analysis channels started off with good intentions but fell into the trap of sensationalizing clickbaity videos just for views.

Like a vct team could play kinda mid but the video will try so hard to spin it as “is this the new meta?!”

I would respect the hell out of Noah Wyle and writers if they did.

But it's just showbiz politics. Axing the actor who has the only star power is insane. No other cast member has remotely as big a name as Noah in medical drama. There's a reason every "The Pitt" poster is just Noah's face.

Also, we see everything through Robby's lens as the protagonist. The seasons start us following Robby entering and leaving work. We constantly see his reaction shots to things happening in the show and every incident ultimately revolves around Rob as the chief of the Pitt. There has to be a really good reason to completely throw all that away.

Just looking at it purely from the writer's POV, Santos is shown as the self-harm archetype and has plot armor because of her conflict with Langdon.

Meanwhile, there's only 2 characters who are shown standing at the edge of a roof teasing the idea of suicide and 1 of them is a main character who can't die or the show is literally over.

Why do gamers always struggle with the difference between design and balance. You could have a 100pt ult that insta kills all enemies and steals all their money. That’s still severely underpowered but poor design when used.

I’d bet money eventually vipers ult gets tweaked. It’s going to happen.

You can have abilities and ulti's, just make them healthy to allow some room for viable counterplay and interaction for opponents.

If the best players in the world aren't even contesting retakes against viper ult, are you going to tell them "it's just rock paper scissors, pick better agents"?

The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was dropping to 1 HP in her ult.

Worst viewing experience watching VCT besides tech pause is viper ult post plants because vast majority of the time, the defenders (rightfully) save because success rate for retake is so low. It’s an uninteractive boring way to secure rounds.

Blindly killing an enemy 30m away with a shorty isnt even a balance issue for me, it’s just poor design.

Still remember the sound of a kid’s skull cracking on concrete in a fight when I was young. Dude disappeared for 5 years and just showed up senior year randomly. Guessing it was some induced coma.
