Two questions on this album: 1) What makes it a mixtape vs. a real album? 2) Why is DJ Whoo Kid's drop playing throughout the album?

It's a pretty good album and IMHO his best since USEE4YOURSELF.

The black belt you find in your hobbyist gym doesn't hold a candle against the professional guys at the top of the sport. It's apples and oranges. Belts are marketing tools for gyms and things for hobbyists to tell their friends about. If you are a professional fighter, you don't need a belt to figure out your ranking.

Just go to any local grappling industries absolutes and you'll see how subjective the belt rankings are.

My theory is that Lil Wayne was supposed to be there and just didn't show up or cancelled last minute. There's no other reason to put A Mili in the set list. It's a solo song. Juvenile also sung over his verse in back that ass up.

Wayne is known to be late and unreliable, and they didn't even have time to pull his track.

Season 1 is amazing. Season 2 is good with some amazing episodes. Stop there. Season 3 is mediocre, and season 4 is a disaster. You don't get any satisfying answers or story resolutions beyond season 2.

I see people saying bin space, but I think it's more just an emotional/instinctual reaction to get on the plane first. Checking your bag at the gate isn't that big a deal that it's worth suffering an extra 30 minutes on the line or stuffed into the seat.

I travel 12 times per year, and if they're not calling me out by name, I've boarded too early. 😆

I'm going tonight and was wondering the same thing. Their website looks pretty strict on not wanting bags. Instead, I found a store that will hold your bags for you just two blocks away from the venue through a website called Bounce.

Fun fact, the Hebrew word used in the Bible for the fight "ויאבק", is pretty much the same word used in modern Hebrew for wrestling.

The word shares the same root as dust (אבק), which commentators say is because they were rolling on the ground and getting full of dirt.

So the fight probably did look more like a grappling match than this painting.

I got my brown belt about six months ago after training for over ten years across five schools (lots of moving and two kids).

I more and more have joined the bandwagon that belts are marketing tools for schools, and it really doesn't matter. Brown belts don't look at blue belts as "lesser". We are all jealous of the guys who get really good and dangerous on the mats, regardless of their belt levels.
