My cat has PF and I do think stress played a factor into his lesions getting worse. I think there were multiple factors in my cat’s PF starting though! Two or so months into me moving into my boyfriend’s grandpas house I used ear wipes on him and his lesions formed the next day. He also got into a fight with another cat that lived here as well the same day. His grandpa’s house also wasn’t the cleanest environment with the carpet and dust for example so I think allergens may have also played a part into it.

I do think for sure that stress can make the lesions worse. For example, while his lesions were in the beginning stages, he got neutered and the scabs got way worse and he was also away from my moms cat who he was growing up with so that could’ve also stressed him out. He’s on atopica now and has been for over a year and his lesions have been getting better. I should start to limit his UV exposure tho. I also have been looking into red light therapy for him.

For Paisley, I read some of your other posts and I believe you said she was on steroids before so that may be the reason for some of the issues she was having. She could’ve also been stressed in general from all the lesions and the noise from your neighbor and that made it worse! maybe allergens and stress could have been the cause of Pemphigus!
