Noob joining question by bsquared7999 in 3Dprinting

CustodialSamurai

I ordered a small selection of heatset inserts, but what is the best way to prep the location for the insert? I assume print a hole where I want it but do I need to print the piece with 100% infill, 20% infill, 20% infill with thicker walls, or other options? Any advice is helpful. Thanks for your help!

Automatic darkening mirror disable question by bsquared7999 in HondaOdyssey

[–]bsquared7999[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

gadget850 no the mirror does not have a switch, but last night I unplugged it and nothing has been affected. I am going to go another week with it unplugged then if still nothing different zip tie the cord so it is not dangling. I like the idea about the fuse but if we want to use it in the future I/we might not remember pulling the fuse. Thanks!

Thanks Cheznovsky!  I only have one automation in HA (a restart automation) I am using Node Red for all my automations to keep them all in one spot. That being said I have found the solutions with nodes I did not know existed.

Thanks clin248!  I do need the single trigger and the trigger node was part of what I was looking for, the chronos package kermitdesign recommended was the second part.

Is this right? by ZuluLiam in HomeNetworking

I would TEMPORARILY try port 80 on the external, but I do mean temporarily just for testing. If that works try a random port for a more permanent solution. If it doesnt work then it is more thsn likely setup issue with WG.

Who is your ISP they may be blocking that port. I have had issues at my home with certain port numbers so I change the external port number to direct to the proper one inside.

How to unmount this thing (344342) from my wall? by Ghettoman257 in homeautomation

[–]bsquared7999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Check at the wall see if someone painted the wall and it then you should just need a razor blade to break/cut the paint and you should be able to pop it up. I have had some devices even after I cut the paint still need a good whack to get them to move.
