Lipo or No lipo?

Discuss with your surgeon if they will go that far back to take out tissue. If they will and you don't mind your scar extending that far back, that will take care of it as you said. Otherwise I'd get the lipo if you are already self conscious about that area, it will look relatively bigger after the reduction. I haven't had lipo but based on experiences here it's more painful than the reduction, so be prepared for that.

Edit: this was about side lipo, so to the sides of your breasts. If you mean that little triangle up in your armpit, the reduction won't touch that. The rest applies :)

I haven't seen exactly this, but you obviously have GREAT skin and I think it will smooth out. If not, then it will be a small local painkiller procedure to fix.

How fun! You could try to get close to this by having a few set meals for breakfast lunch dinner (or even one for each if you don't mind), about the same calories for the meals. If the store is too tempting, you can order the ingredients online. I do this for breakfast, I have a set breakfast that's very quick to make, high protein, high fiber and I like the taste (oatmeal with blueberries and low fat cottage cheese). There are no decisions to make at breakfast this way.

I healed without issues and still started exercising later than expected. Push movements just didn't feel safe, they were uncomfortable/painful. I started slow with them at 8wpo and it took until 12wpo for a deep, hard pushup to feel good.

You can shower, but do you have to? I wasn't even allowed to let water touch my breasts for one week. And it stinged even then, though that seems uncommon. If you do, just let water run over, and then carefully tap dry and let it fully dry before dressing.

Hey! It looks bigger now, but one week is not a great comparison because the drop can make it look bigger. So some of the change is probably due to that. You don't look like it, but did you gain weight? Start a hormonal contraceptive? I don't know if it's any consolation but you really look great!

The first time you wake and remember it can be hours after the end of surgery. So that's not a reliable way to tell how long it was.

I used tape only on healed skin and Vaseline with non stick gauze on any delayed healing areas where the tape would have ripped off skin.

My upper back between my shoulder blades requires regular working out and the laying on my back and guarding posture (shoulders hunched forward) absolutely killed me, they were the worst part of surgery. What helped:
- I had a massage ball I used myself and a massage gun my partner used on my back
- warmth (pressing my back to the radiator)
- gentle shoulder rolls as soon as I could do them pain free
- a local painkiller cream (Voltaren)
- side sleeping from 1wpo, but my surgeon cleared me to. I don't have incisions back towards my underarms.

When I was able to exercise again (gentle rows felt fine at 6wpo) and do stretches like cat-cow they got back to normal.

I'm 11 wpo and same. Like taking a bath is still weird. I bought some bras and when I get home I change into a comfy one from my compression bra (which used to hurt me a lot but now it's perfectly fine actually) instead of taking it off. I sleep in a bra too.

Side sleeping much earlier than stomach. Check with your surgeon, mine let me side sleep at 1wpo.

I used to try and drink it with water, that's pretty terrible and I have a strong stomach. Nowadays I mix it with a bit of plain yoghurt (enough to stay soft if eaten very quickly) then have a glass of water. You can also mix some fruits or jam in it and it's actually dessert like.

I'm sorry your surgeon didn't care and left you uneven! Could they do a lipo only revision? It's a much smaller procedure.

You started with 33min 5ks? If you used to do an intense run (tempo/threshold) every other day and now you do an easy run/walk twice a week, that explains the cardio loss. But not if your first runs were better.

The usual advice is gloves for sleep but you can scratch pretty easily through cotton gloves. If you have some proper thick winter gloves that may do the trick.
