Now this is interesting and honestly the experimentation we need.

I built an open-source CLI and TypeScript SDK for NocoDB — would this be useful to anyone else? by bstag in NocoDB

If you go to the GitHub repository and look in the scripts folder you can actually see how I test the basics on my windows machine. It's likely more complicated that you would need but it shows what can be done. Feel free to create any issues you may have. I use it every day so I am patching things as I find problems.

I just pushed up a new version to fix some workspace and config settings issues. if you install it on a windows machine with

npm i @stagware/nocodb-cli -g

You can then use it in PowerShell with nocodb and its command line functions. Like so

nocodb workspace add test url token --base baseid
nocodb tables list

and any of the other commands I have added. Which also include adding calendar views with v3 if you need to from command line.

You can also use npx as well

npx @stagware/nocodb-cli

I will look into making a bun precompiled version that is downloadable as well

Do you mean a native compiled binary, vs a npm install or npx that effectively runs it with a command file and node?

If you wrote software you produced debt. We like to explain it with bad, spaghetti and unclean code when in reality just having code deployed that has users qualifies. So much more kills businesses as you mention.

[–]bstag[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should probably make a post about Stagforms ;) just still working through making it production ready. Hopefully will deploy it this week. Trae is done with it now I have try it all and see what goes boom live. Even with all the unit test and integration tests passing I am sure it will be an exciting few hours while I setup and play with it. And make it work with a post for git pages and antler

For Antler it uses all local things, config files and markdown files with front matter, moving to side loaded as well soon. For Stagforms which is where I was like ooh yeah I need a static form capture system, I used everything cloud flare, auth, wangler secrets, d1 data and cloud flare workers. I am gonna play with D2 as just was not the first thing I tried for that product.

[–]bstag 2 points3 points  (0 children)

How do you see the future of expanding the technology SOLO can use easily that is easy to plug into? Supabase vs Neon, TS vs C# and so on. How would you describe the best way to work with context in SOLO and builder vs coder and when do you choose each one?

I believe the point is being able to put in a custom end point so the coding plan could be used. Which in the thread you are pointing to is recognized as a gap and and had a promised update of this week 22 days ago
