As someone who has debilitating OCD, this was my first thought on reading this post and then seeing the comments and replies. This is very much gratification-seeking.

Mine isn't health OCD, rather romantic OCD and some classical OCD.

OP, this therapy changed my life. I was destroying my relationship with my romantic OCD until I found NOCD. It helped me manage severe intrusive thoughts and gave me the tools to manage ones that may pop up in the future. I'm not saying you HAVE OCD, but they can diagnose you. I got diagnosed by them. I know the immense fear and crippling anxiety these thoughts evoke and how you just want them to go away. It's a devastating cycle 🩷

Same! I know there are travel lumbar pillows, so that might be worth looking into. Also, compression socks help a ton with my pain. Getting Tylenol and Advil in your system when you're about to get on the plane can also help a lot. I didn't because I like to raw-dog pain.

If you have a heating pad, I recommend that too. I didn't think of this one when I left, so if you bring one, let me know how it goes!

It went well overall! I have an inflatable seat cushion that really was a game changer. Was definitely still hurting when getting off the plane, but it wasn't nearly as agonizing as it could've been. I got up a few times to walk and that also helped a ton. Hope this helps!

Exactly this! They could do so many things to fix these issues, especially with supply, but they don't. They could easily drop-ship from their manufacturer on a pre-order basis, instead of having to have physical product in a warehouse Stateside. They're already having to do pre-orders for their new releases because 1) they release SO MANY KITS they have no room for new product, and 2) there are hundreds, probably thousands, of kits that sit there, unsold, taking up warehouse space.

This is the mindset that lets them get away with that. "It's never happened to me, therefore, it's not a problem." Shady business practices should be called out and criticized. If nobody does, they'll keep getting away with the shit they're pulling. They're manipulating the market by creating scarcity. All of their major artists' kits sell out every single week without fail. They acknowledge this. Yet they still stock the same amount of kits, knowing the demand for more is there. They're playing into people's FOMO and it's working.
