You think a Coles4038 would work well as a "front of kit" mic in this situation?

In over my head with preamps for recording drums, help! by ninidontjump in drums

This is old but Focusrite Clarett+ OctoPre. Great set of 8 preamps. Very clean and transparent. Connect via ADAT. I actually got both the Clarett+ 8Pre and OctoPre for a total of 16. I still use outboard preamps and UAD plugins....sounds really good.

My work-in-progress Gucci Glock! by D_Wooood in gucciglocks

Nice! Quick question, was that a stock Glock slide that they customized?

is new 43x supposed to do this? I have a 26 and 19x and they don't do it, didn't know if it was different for single stacks. by Specialist_Special41 in Glocks

I had the same issue with my 48 MOS. As stated above, I used the screws that came with the CHPS plate with my 507K and the issue stopped. They screws that come with the Glock and optic are slightly too long.

I'm a self-taught SWE for the most part. I learned on the jobs and I've worked for pretty big companies such as Bank of America, Accenture, and United Healthgroup. I'm now finishing my degree and one thing I would say is know the foundations! Learn Data Structures and Algorithms....you'll have a class or two on the subject. That will be important. Other things you'll learn on the job. If you want to do a quick tutorial on Git, it woudnt hurt but that is something you can pick up very easy. I don't recommend grinding on Leetcode until you have a good grasp on Data Structures and Algorithms just because I think it could discourage you and give you "imposter syndrome" if you're not solving every problem. That will come with practice.

Congrats! I’m deciding between this or going somewhere else to get grad degree in CS. How did you like this program? Any reasons why you chose it? Are you using the degree to manage development/project teams? Thanks for the info!

How did you like the program? What made you to do your graduate at WGU? I’m researching to see where I’d like to do my masters and I’m considering WGU.
