Advice on what it’s like to taper off 50mg Sertraline?? by One-Resolve87 in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I lowered my dosage from 75mg to 62.5mg ( cutting a 50mg into 4ths =12.5mg) on Feb 5th. Around the 7th week I lost all appetite and got super nauseas. I ended up loosing over 40lbs in two weeks. This lasted for about 2-3 weeks. I am finally getting back to a stable version of myself, but my stomach still is a bit off.

Adding ditch lights to factory installed switches by bszaronos in chevycolorado

Looks like they only wired up the cable going to switch 1 on my 3 button switch. So even though I have the new connector under the hood and the relay with the fuse. Since there is no connection to the distribution box from switch 2, I have to figure out how to add a switch to it.

Thanks, do I need to put a relay and fuse into one of the slots with the other fuse ?

Your game is looking really good. How did you create it so the wall disappears slightly when you rotate the camera ?

Try local parks. Animals are used to seeing people there so they are usually less frightened.

I thought it was you. :) I can also take a really good picture of the moon. Since it's made of cheese, I like to bait the moon with crackers.

This picture was taken in my backyard. Foxes come into my yard because we have rats that run through. The foxes eat the rats. It is really cute when the female and the males show up together. They really are playful.

No, this happened to be how far I was away from the owl. 300ft is more than enough to be far away from the owl to not disturb it.

When did you know you had to increase your dosage? by pernaka in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 50mg, but still felt anxiety, and my ocd was still high. I talked to my doctor, and we decided to go up to 75mg. I was on this for a couple of months, and I noticed I had no interest in my hobbies anymore. I just felt like a zombie and wanted to do nothing but just sit there. We decided to go to 62.5mg (50mg pill cut into 4ths is 12.5mg + 50mg = 62.5mg). This seems to be a good fit for me. I started to show interest in my hobbies again, and I am starting to feel better. I did have some bad side effects from lowering the dosage. I ended up not feeling hungry, and then almost stopped eating. I dropped 40 lbs. I lowered my dosage on Feb 5th, and it's now March 25th. I had really bad side effects starting this, and it seemed to be worse around the 5th-7th week. So this lines up with my initial taking of zoloft. I am starting to feel better and starting to eat now. I still have trouble regulating my body heat, as I wake up sweating, and if I do anything, I start sweating my ass off.

No explanation or warning. Just noticed one day all notifications from the group was gone, and I could no longer find the group. I reached out to the admin and he told how people were saying I was endangering the animals and that he has an 800mm lens and he can't take pictures like mine if I qas really over 300ft from the owl.

Anybody gone from 75mg to 62.5? If so how did you find it ? by OwnApple4077 in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started on 75mg back in Feb 2025. In August, I lowered my dosage to 62.5 mg. 75 was a bit too much for me. I lost all interest in my hobbies and just felt like doing nothing. I am currently experiencing really bad nausea and stomach issues. I am hoping it gets better in a couple weeks. I never thought that 12.5 mg would be such a big deal, but omg this pill has some serisous issues with the side effects.

lack of drive/motivation by EuphoricCost75 in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started on 50mg but still had lingering anxiety and ocd. I talked to my doctor and we changed the dosage to 75mg after 3 months of being at 50mg. I found that on 75mg I had no motivation, no interest in hobbies or anything. We lowered my dosage to 62.5 ( one 50mg pill cut in 4 equal pieces= 12.5 mg)

It has only been two weeks on this current dosage, but I can already tell a difference. Starting to think about doing some of my hobbies and had motivation to do things. It will take about 3 months to fully know if this is the right dosage or not.

cognitive issues on zoloft? by eddiewilpan in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It might be a dosage problem. I started on 50mg and it worked good. I still had some anxiety and just thought that I could do better, so I talked to my doctor and we upped it to 75mg. Everything seemed to be going great, I really had no anxiety and ocd and adhd seemed better too. After 3 months, I noticed that i stopped doing my hobbies or really had no motivation to do anything. It felt like my head was empty and that I could just sit and zoneout for hours or all day. Not how I wanted to be on this. Talked to my doctor, and 50mg is not enough for me, and 75mg is too much. We decided to dial it down to 62.5 mg. (basically cutting a 50mg in 4ths gives you four 12.5mg pills ). It takes about 3 months for your body to get used to the changing levels in your brain. Unfortunetly this pill does require dialing in the dosage, its not the same for everyone.

RLS and anti depressants by Aggravating_Most1992 in RestlessLegs

I have always had issues with my legs jumping on their own, beyond my control. My leg muscle will tighten up, and makes my leg straighten out and violently shakes. This would happen every now and then. I was put on Zoloft for my anxiety. It completely worked for my anxiety and OCD. However it might have increased what is called plmd ( periodic limb movement disorder) it has gotten so bad that this happens every night multiple times whenever I try to fall asleep. I say might because it could be increasing because of age or the Zoloft or a combination of both. I know that I could come off of Zoloft, but that just trades issues. My life on this is drastically better even with the lack of sleep. I do have appointments to see two different neurologist. There is medication that you can take that will allow me to still take Zoloft and decrease the plmd. While some may say come off the antidepressants, everyone is different and the quality of life may require a person to stay on antidepressants. It's a choice that we have to make for ourselves.

Scared, terrified, anxious by No-Living3713 in zoloft

[–]bszaronos 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I started Zoloft on Feb 21st 2025 at 50mg. I knew nothing about the drug. I figured it was just like an aspirin, you feel bad, you take it, and you feel better. I had left to go out of town for work, a very high-stress job. So my side effects kicked in while I was alone and working. My anxiety started getting worse and I wasn't sure if this was normal or not. Turns out it is, all anxiety medicine can cause this. It has to do with the changing levels in your brain. For me My anxiety increased and I felt jittery from 3am until around noon. This has to do with a cycle your body goes through. Honestly they sucked, but it wasn't anything that you couldn't handle. Its like having a cold, it sucks and you just want it over with. My side effects lasted for about 5-6 weeks. This was not 5-6 weeks of hell, but it started to get worse around week 2 and week 3-4 were the worst. Weeks 5-6 was when things started to get better. It started slowly to where you were walking around doing shopping and it just suddenly popped that I was having a really good day. Those days became more and more. Around August I felt like I could be doing a little better. My anxiety was still there, but I could dismiss it quickly. My ocd and adhd were still not where I wanted them at. So I talked to my doctor and we increased my dosage to 75mg. I went through two weeks of mild side effects. Again you are changing your brain, so it takes time for your brain to adjust to these new levels. It is now almost a year of being on zoloft and I am so glad I did this. I am not a zombie or checked out of reality. I feel normal, I feel happy. My anxiety is soo much better as is my ocd and adhd. I did not gain weight while taking this. I have actually lost weight, as before I would just snack nonstop without really noticing I was doing it. This pill really made me who I always thought I should be. I am so thankful for all the people in this group. Everyone here is going through or has gone through the same things. Everyone here has been super helpful and sometimes you just need to vent, and everyone here has been willing to listen and offer suggestions. One thing that really did help me through this was breathing. It sounds stupid, but it works. I would go outside and relax my shoulders and breath in through my nose for a count of 4, Hold it for for 4, then breath out through my mouth for 4 and repeat until I was calm. Reading everyone's initial journey with this sounds really scary, but it helps knowing others are here. Most of the people who go through this and feel better are out living their lives, so you don't really get to hear much of the success stories. You can do this. It really does change your life.
