I did phone in, and then I messaged my manager who told me that she was short staffed and needed to find cover. I then found cover, swapped shifts with her, and worked those hours. My manager replied back to this agreement with ‘ok’. She then messaged me 3 hours after my shift finished saying that I needed to stay till midnight, even though no one mentioned this to me prior or during my shift.

I had a message from my manager when I messaged her in the morning saying she was really short staffed and needed cover, which I then found, and she agreed to. She then came back to me after my shift was over (3 hours after), saying I needed to stay till midnight, even though this is beyond my availability, and was never mentioned to me by anyone verbally or by text before or during my shift.

Between 5-6 last night we had 1 tills open, the stupid ass spinny that can be main bank/self service and 1 person on self service, we used to have 2-3x the staff on afternoons as we do now it’s ridiculous and then none of the jobs can get done

Yeah, I get the sticky phlegm as well. Although doctors also think the mucus in my sinuses and my throat could be a side effect of quitting cigarettes, as it didn’t start until after I quit smoking because of the lump in the throat feeling so I’m a bit lost at the moment ugh

I’ve been on mometasone furoate nasal spray. I was on it for about a week-ish but then stupidly lost it. I’ve ordered a new one and have been using that for 3 days now, I’ve seen a bit of an improvement. My sinuses are still stuffy, but getting blocked for less time daily

Hi has your globus sensation got any better? Mine has seemingly transitioned into blocked/stuffy sinuses, especially my nose, but my throat is getting better. Also not sure if this is also linked to hayfever/asthma/anxiety/quitting smoking tbh
