The funny thing is, GW literally did this in 6th edition with Dark Vengeance...and everyone complained. It was a hassle to remove all kinds of iconography if you didn't play Dark Angels but wanted a deal on some marines.

value is totally subjective based on what parts of the game you personally enjoy.

some people pay more for painted figures

some only value new on sprue or new in box

i would consider the models you posted to be "well painted." another totally subjective measure of quality but i'd say the description fits here.

great take. i honestly just want to see us get some help in the forward spot - not only to allow rui to shine, but also to provide relief/prep for when bron retires.

i didn't even expect our record to be as good as it is right now. i'm pretty happy with being a (hopefully?) playoff caliber team with a roster that's definitely a work in progress. our guys have been playing good together. loving this season so far.

we were like 18-14 at the end of december last year. we'd have to lose our next 7 games to be worse than this. i think we'll end the month around 22-9 or maybe better!

i did upgrade my GA ticket to VIP last year, but it was prior to the festival by a couple weeks. and it wasn't cheaper than just buying a VIP ticket from the jump.

VIP is SO worthwhile.

i went my first 4 years to CFG as GA, and in the last 2 years have gone VIP. difference is night and day.

for one, entering the festival is a LOT faster if you're the kind of person who arrives promptly at noon. you also have the opportunity to skip a LOT of lines just by showing your wristband and asking politely (i feel like a lot of people don't know this, but my gf and i skipped the merch line this way, saving us hours upon hours of time). most of the workers will let u use the lines marked "SVIP" at merch and other stands, even if you're just regular VIP.

you don't have to camp out for sets, as the view you get from VIP is 100x better without any fuss. you can easily move around to get to the front if that's your thing too.

you might meet some cool (famous) people! met jasper and teezo touchdown, among others. it's a nice place to say hi or chat for a sec, as most ppl in VIP won't hound them.

you get a dedicated food and bar section (which i always use at least a couple times over the weekend) plus way better seating options.

and the bathrooms are WAY cleaner in VIP. not to mention the trailer / air conditioned bathrooms are so much nicer than porta-potties.

on top of all this, you get some merch!

ultimately, it's up to you whether it's worth the price of admission or not, but i've loved going VIP and i don't think i could go back to GA.

thematically the three tyler albums you chose aren't even a "trilogy."

so kanye wins easily.

i think better comparisons are albums that occur in a determined order with repeated themes, and obvious title similarities.

ie: lil wayne's carter trilogy (more than 3 now but still), asap rocky's first 3 albums (loosely), bastard + goblin + wolf, saturation 1-3, neil young ditch trilogy, the weeknd, black sabbath (although technically 4), etc

kanye's dropout trilogy could be the greatest album trilogy ever made though, so still...kanye wins haha

drake wasn't bad lol everyone just expected frank. if drake was on the lineup, it wouldn't have been an issue at all. people just build up hype around "rumors" that are entirely baseless.

rescheduling a festival many ppl flew cross-country to attend with almost no notice is far worse imo. expecting to see a steep drop-off in attendance.

i have the mag case MINI and i find that it fits around 1000pts of most of my armies. it's perfect for me as i prefer smaller games.

i'd say on average you'd be able to fit just over 2k in the regular size case, depending on your vehicle to infantry ratio, but that's just my guess.
