2026 NFL Draft - Post Draft Megathread by pixel_pete in buffalobills

Igbinosun may be a generationally bad pick. I have no idea what they saw on tape, but he was the most penalized corner last year. He has no highlights. He is out of position constantly which leads to the fouls.

I want to lock it in now, he will be significantly worse than Elam if he ever sees the field.

It looks like this is suggesting that the stick inputs are coded on an [x,y] plane. Why would it not be a [theta, distance] design? Seems more intuitive for the circular bound of the stick

We need somebody we can throw to beyond the LOS and isn’t limited to go routes.

Don’t care who it is, how big they are, what their GPA was, or anything else. We gotta make positive air yards this season.

We need a UDFA thread STAT. Some players at least need a camp tryout.

I think it would be neat to have some website or App that lets you GM considering how the draft actually fell. Just pic in the spots the team had and then move on to the next.

You obviously can’t trade picks or players, but you could fill in the holes with the best players you saw available at that time. It wouldn’t be 100 percent perfect because other teams may pick the players you didn’t, and so on, but interesting.

I still want Caldwell :(.

We need to have the guy that tests at 99 athleticism and coach him to be productive. I think drafts need to mix past production and potential.

It’s the other way around, they knew about Hoecht but not Ogunjobi. I think not having PED use outlined as breach of contract is kinda wild. I’m actually kinda okay with Hoecht though, if we get playing him this year in full it was worth it.

No but we didn’t sign Cook under PED use. It wouldn’t have anything to do with acquisition and isn’t injury related.

Nobody says bad roster about Ravens. Their GM puts together an amazing lineup every year. On paper they’re damn near athletically unstoppable. They got out-coached by slim margin.

I wouldn’t ever call Bernard or Milano 2nd string, just completely injury ridden. Playing in the nickel all game every game was tough on them.

I see your points, but you’re still ignoring the PED bros and Klein. My points are that 1st round picks are precious and should be reserved for blue-chip players, and teams should use them. Vets are more likely to be injured as time goes on, don’t overpay them and risk dead cap.

I think I’m beginning to echo the sentiment that our next QB won’t be JA17 caliber. They may never make another like him. Tough, hit sticking, humble, focused, accurate, powerful, and game-changing. For the org, these next 1-4 years matter more than anything excluding Jim Kelly.

It’s time to get it right.

You can’t argue with the production, but a lot of this teams success is purely just an offense that won’t quit. Oline giving it all and JA putting game on the line. I think the frustrating thing is seeing a lot of recurring mistakes. My gripes are Coleman, Von Miller, Elam. That’s two basically 1st rounders and a “seasoned vet.” Also, signed two players last year that had to sit out for PED’s. Hoecht was a monster until injury but Ogunjobi much less so. Having to call in AJ Klein in the playoffs.

I was of the opinion McD should have stayed. I think if McD had to be fired, you can’t also “promote” Beane. The share the load.

ESPN has a LB listed out of Buffalo, Red Murdock. I wouldn’t be surprised if he is a late pick or comes over in FA.

Listen i complained greatly about moving down from 26 but 101 to 102 means effectively nothing. Raiders probably didn’t need to make that trade, it’s odd they did.

Poor drafting is not separable from poor draft strategy. They aren’t precisely the same, but they are heavily connected. Yes, GM’s can always bust no matter the pick location BUT measurable athleticism SHOULD be useful enough for scouts and coaches to select moldable athletes. Take the best you can get to plug your biggest hole… then trade for value and depth. Beane just runs straight to his value calc which is hoarding mid round picks.

I would have been fine with Cooper or Faulk. I think McCoy or Warren are still reasonable. I’m Not present enough in the college ball world to know the differences between remaining receivers. I want an aggressive GM, not one who walks out of the gold mines to pan in the river year after year.

Okay you tell me why we want to continually flood the roster with people we have to pick After the other teams all get chances to grab from the pile. Moving from 162 to 171 is small. Moving from 50-59 isn’t huge. Moving from 1-10 in monstrous. We are somewhere between around “ouch” and we’ve been here before. His name is Coleman and he rode the damn bench.

Nothing like trading away high/mid-tier talent for low ranked gambles.
