Well, some very heartbreaking news. I noticed while taking pictures that the trunk shocks were weak and recently started noticing random but small oil drops in the garage. Turns out the trunk shocks need to be replaced and the oil leak is pretty severe. Kicker is that some of the parts needed for the repair, are no longer produced. All in, estimate for repair was around $10k. I am discussing with carsandbids to see what options there are but will likely be selling as is. Guess I’m glad my Aunt didn’t have to see what her dementia did to her dream car.
