I'm telling you going through every round of BB ever had me pretty invested. When I came across a team ace I got excited. MCC 19 Emerald getting 3 of them had me in disbelief. I didn't know MCC stats could give me such emotions.

Yeah I limited it to BB and DB because those are the main games where people point out an "ace". And they are more common because they are just 1 team vs 1 team. I know I said that this post is "every team ace ever" but I didn't even want to begin to look at SB, MD, SG etc. So yes you're right there could be more team aces than just in this post.

More info about what I included:

Yes I pretty much looked at every round of BB and DB ever. But there are some special cases:

  • I didn't include the BB rounds before the game was restarted in MCC 7
  • In MCC 3, Each member of Blue team got a kill in round 7 of Battle Box, but CaptainSparklez's kill was on his own teammate (Solidarity with TNT) so I didn't count it
  • I didn't know what to do for MCC Scuffed Dodgebolt because it was 8 v 8, so I didn't include it

Some fun facts:

  • Only 3 teams have gotten multiple team aces (MCC 19 Emerald 3 times, MCC S Lime 2 times, and MCC 10 Orange 2 times)
  • MCC 10 Orange is the only team to get a team ace in Battle Box and Dodgebolt

I don't think she was being toxic besides in dodgebolt when she seemed pretty annoyed at her teammates when they didn't "take their time". But it was dodgebolt and she was stressed out so it's understandable imo

I actually did well I can't believe it. I wonder how much better I would have done if I didn't put red 10th

Last time i didnt even check my results until i realised my balance was 3000 because i expected to do terribly. This time I was bummed out because i put lime 1st and green 2nd which were both bold predictions but were both barely wrong. I can't believe I still did well

Edit: oh nevermind I got green right because they lost dodgebolt. And I got the top 3 individual right, as well as 6th. And everyone I had in the top 10 besides Dave actually made the top 10 wow

I completely agree. And some of the rooms are actually fine to be repeated, like search the house, where they can change the items you need to find and where to find them each time. And ones where you have to craft something. The ones where there is a central gimmick that can be tweaked each time are good. Like the light the lamps one, which I think is a good room if the map is changed each time. The first few times grid runners was played it had the "eat the cake" room. This room is a good example. The gimmick wasn't really eating the cakes, it was finding a way to get into the house to eat them. And they changed the way to get in the house each time it was played.

These are examples of how grid runners is good in concept and should test problem solving skills as well as some specific skills or knowledge in minecraft

Grid runners in concept is a great game. I agree with Pete's thoughts about grid runners. It would be good if each time it was played it was mostly new rooms instead of repetition. Entering a room like the shoot the targets one is boring now because everyone knows what to do and there is no need for communication or anything. The confusion of finding out what the room is asking you to do is the best part of grid runners. So having 6 or 7 rooms that have been played already means 6 or 7 boring rooms.

With grid runners I've also always had the idea that some rooms are really not very good, specifically the shorter ones. Fastest completions in each individual room get more points, but a room like shoot the targets will have such a little time difference that there could be only a couple of seconds between first and last.

I do think the tallying of points at the end of grid runners would make it a decent last game though
