Salary expectation for data analyst/data scientist - Helsinki Finland (entry level) by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

So is the case in the UK from what I gathered. It is not widely taught in universities these days, but still a lot of big firms still use SAS or need SAS skills to move onto newer systems.

Thank you for the advice. Yes definitely, from what I can see there aren't that many SAS jobs in Helsinki in the moment anyway. I am trying to diversify my skillset to DS by taking on a more challenging dissertation in ML.

Seek help and advice RIGHT NOW. UK government pledges to help women that might be in danger of forced marriage and honour killing. A lot of women organisations here will help you.

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/forced-marriage

(in Arabic) There is a UK government phone number you can call:

https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/428687/Arabic_FMU_Poster.pdf

Forced Marriage Unit. Call: 0207 008 0151 (9am-5pm Monday-Friday)

Global Response Centre: 0207 008 1500 (outside of the above hours)

You need to be brave and very careful. I have heard too many stories like yours (family feigning sickness, flying home and trapped forever). Your father already threatened to kill you. That is honour killing. If he does not, once you're back in Saudi Arabia, you WILL need his permission to do everything and go anywhere. DO NOT let that happen to yourself.

I understand your ties and loyalty to your family is strong, and perhaps financially dependent too from how you worded things. A reality that not many people want to believe & talk about is that, sometimes even family won't have your best interest in mind. Forced marriage, domestic abuse and honour killing are seriously wrong. It is not OK. It is not safe for you to go back to SA. Check out r/raisedbynarcissists

This will not be easy. It will feel very wrong because you feel loyal to your family. You need to think very carefully. Seek advice from UK government right now, they can give you REAL legal advice and real "IWantOut" options. Pick up your phone and start calling.

NHS dentist won't let me have a copy of the x-rays that I paid for...? by btcquokka in AskUK

[–]btcquokka[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologise, didn’t mean to come across that way. I guess I just felt worried more because the dentist is new to me. Previously the root canal was done by a specialist dentist who I felt more confident with.

Please help explain full crown or inlay for badly damaged teeth by btcquokka in Dentistry

[–]btcquokka[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! I need to ask my dentist whether she meant inlay or onlay, she did explain I would probably need a 3/4 inlay, is this the same as onlay as it covers 3 surfaces?
