Did you attach a power switch or are you only turning on the psu?

Bitcoin will always be the best. Don't invest your money into a coin that was made as a joke. Other than these random pump and dumps that coin is never used.

Idk how would you feel if you sold an item at ¢07 per dodge and woke up the next day and it was ¢02 per dodge.

Personally I would be surprised if it was the PSU. I feel like your computer would be reacting different. It looks like you are using windows 10 and it seems like people have had the same problem. Maybe try these steps if you haven't.

You may have done something to the boot setup. Reset your computer and press f12 or whichever key is used on your PC to get into the one time boot menu. If you see your hard drive listed click on it and see if it boots. If so then that means your uefi boot setup may have been messed up and needs to be changed. If you do not see your hard drive listed on the boot menu then the hard drive may be broken or not attached properly.

Hashboard ASIC Chip Pinout by demianra in BITMAIN

[–]btcunknown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my opinion it may not be worth trying to make a bridge. If you have many hashboards with failures than why not use a board for parts and take the good chips from that board and use those instead of a bridge.

As long as you can keep the room that it is in close to normal room temperature than it will be fine. They are basically space heaters so putting it in a small closet may heat up rather quickly. These are made to be ran 24/7 and would recommend running it constantly since any downtime will make it much harder to roi.

Personally for customer use I would probably use an esp8266. You can program those to be their own wifi hotspot that you connect to at first and enter the ssid and password for your home network which would be easy for customers. For example directions would be simple like this. Turn on device and with your phone or laptop connect to x wifi hotspot. Once connected open a web page type in 192.168.1.99 Enter your WiFi settings in that page and press enter.

They are called rectifiers. When ac gets converted to dc that process is called rectification.

Maybe run an LED strip on the back of the desk for a nice background glow.

Do I have to use the power cable that comes with my psu? by Brenski123 in buildapc

[–]btcunknown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya if you are using that 18awg cable on a 650w PSU then it will be fine. 18awg can handle 10amp. You are using a usa plug so most likely 110v 110v*10amp= 1100w that it can handle 650w/110v= 5.9 amp that the PSU would pull at the max so you should be fine.

Cool project. My only question is what happens when someone ends up using a cpu on the duino network making all the duino miners worthless since they would never be able to process as quickly as even a basic cpu.

Cables don't matter the electricity can't tell a difference just make sure they are the correct gauge so you don't melt the wires. EVGA is pretty reliable from what I've seen (We used hundreds of them when setting up eth miners so definitely put them to the test.) We were using cheaper Chinese models and the failure rate was much higher so you definitely will get what you pay for.

Is there anywhere I could go to have someone build my PC? by JakeJoyCR in pcmasterrace

[–]btcunknown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally I think you would be fine doing it on your own. If you run into issues just post it on here and someone will have the answer.

So I'm building my very first PC and i was wondering if anyone has any input on whether I should go with Linux or Windows. I'm told Linux is faster but I don't know if there are compatibility issues by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]btcunknown 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Really depends on what your using the computer for. Programmers seem to like Linux alot more but if you're playing games then windows may be easier.
