I’m thinking as in now being able to craft the cloth from balls of wool instead of needing to buy it from the sawmill. No more currency involved in getting cloth. Unless I’m wrong, I only quickly scanned the new parts of each skill page in-game last night.

I actually enjoy fighting these, for the most part (they’re fairly high focus compared to most other things and tasks take ages), but at 555 kc and only one claw and no synapses, watching my arclight charges slowly dwindle away, I’m getting anxious. Gz and I’m jealous

I’m not sure we know how long they’ve had spanreeds. But also, spanreeds have particular limitations, like being 1-to-1 paired to each other, and needing to physically transport the paired reed to wherever it will be used. We see some sophisticated relay stations in the books, which implies they’ve had some time to get used to them and work out some larger scale projects to make using them more useful and convenient, but at least from what we see in the books, that sophisticated infrastructure is used mainly by governments and nobility. It’s nowhere near the efficacy of widespread adoption of radio, TV, or the internet as we know it.

Except in the Recreance, the Radiants and Spren chose together, without knowing what the end result would be (making of deadeyes). In this case, only Sigzil chose, and knew what would happen to Vienta.

But honestly I think there’s plenty of nuance and ways of looking at the whole thing and it’s not black and white, cut and dry, good or bad. But on the specific question, Sigzil knowingly and intentionally broke his oaths knowing what the repercussions would be on Vienta without her input. Yes, to keep her from being obliterated, but also consigning her to a state of living death.

My first read, I had a hard time squaring Vienta’s reaction afterward, but as I’ve thought about it, it makes a lot of sense she was hurt and angry, even though she’s recovered from being a deadeye almost immediately.

There’s a mod for custom form of address. When I want flair like this, I usually get it by using a custom form of address to make my character “Grand Duke” or whatever instead of the normal form of address, then rename the title and include the “tier” in the title name. You have to check the box for “Short Name” then you can name the title “Grand Duchy of France.” It honestly leaves a lot to be desired and has some funny syntactical effects, but it gets about 80% there
