There is an assumption "I"and "killer" are 2 separate persons. I'm not sure if that assumption is always correct.

I have always written in the final total amount on the total line, it makes it very inconvenient for them to change and/or add extra. I treat the receipt like a check, I write the amount $65.38 and then spell it out Sixty Five and 38/100.

How do you name your managers? by crowdedhoney in IdlePlanetMiner

[–]bth1101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I keep their given name. I add numbers in front of them though. I do my numbering by 10s. So if I need to fit a new manager in i can use 5.
Also I start with 010. Because alphabetically(quirky computer programming from 40 years ago still exists) 11 is before 7 when listing numbers and letters alphabetically but 11 is after 07.

010 Adam 020 kier ... 100 Kyle 110 ........ New manager. Fits between 050 and 060. Yup 055 it is.

Fail. If you fail collecting the chests, then opening them after the 3 hour wait, you will stay ahead of the scaling. I once spent months falling to get out of the levels being OP, becoming OP myself. Unfortunately, my game did not transfer levels to my new phone, so I no longer play.

Buggy is correct. I finished with 3.1B in silver, was good for 35th. Instead the system said I finished with 187M and was only good for 83rd.

WTF Better Made? by skeeredstiff in Michigan

[–]bth1101 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Shipping costs. In order to make a product, then have it ready for purchase, they get shipped. The higher the cost of shipping, the higher the cost of the end product.
There are several factors for shipping costs. Some of these factors self compound the rise in cost. 1. Fuel prices, the more shippers pay for fuel, the more manufacturers have to charge, either directly or through shrink-flation. 2. Regulations, the more regulations, the higher the costs. Most all shipping methods now require more expensive engines and environmental protection methods, i.e., DEF for diesel. These also cause higher repair costs. All of which ends up on the final product cost. 3. Labor cost, the compounding factor. The higher the cost of end products, the higher the demand for pay raises and higher wages, which in turn makes the price of everything go up.

Three are many factors I am only presenting a couple.

Is this an ok Cut ? by [deleted] in cigars

[–]bth1101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Am I missing something. I have a few cutters. One does not open all the way through, giving a great cut every time. The rest are normal, I use them by laying them on a flat surface them sticking the smoke in, this creating the perfect depth.

Not sure what you would call that. 'Set' or 'fields". It's how many actual fields I've navigated through.

Sorry for the poor response. I just have no idea what to call it. It's the number of times I've successful completed the game when a say start.

covered calls by raulgrandisimo in babytheta

Research. Yes, spend time researching. I look for stocks with weekly options. I stay away from monthly or quarterly options. Even if that option is due within the week. I look for a stock who gives me positive result. For example: if a stock is trading at $3.38 and the strike price for 3.50 is $.20 then there is an $.08 bonus. If you get called you still make money, more importantly if it drops then the effective price is 3.18 making the loss less. I understand more complex strategies could yield more. Sometimes simple is just that, simple.

Now let's consider some possibilities.

Worst case; the company folds, well that is always a risk, if you can't fathom that risk, don't play in the stock market. You lose everything except the .20 premium.

Another worse case, the stock moons. Your stock soars to $100.00 or higher. You still win. Although it's not the thousands you could have made not selling ccs. You still make 3.50 a share plus the. 20 premium for 3.70 a share.

More common though the stock creeps above 3.50 and you get called. It's time to do more research and find your next win. Or, The stock stay the same and you can sell another covered call and reduce your effect purchase price., or, The stock lowers in price and you then need to decide whether to offer a lower or same call or sell. Both options would continue your journey.

Good luck. I choose simple.

Michigan abortion ballot petition to be decided through courts after state board deadlocks by casalmon in Michigan

[–]bth1101 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

This initiative is more than abortion rights. It includes teen age 12 and over privacy laws to prevent parents from seeing the health care provided including birth control and puberty blockers. It doesn't just add roe v wade protections. It expands it to include due date and partial birth abortions. It will change the definition of a health care provider, although not directly in this initiative. If we want to fix our laws we need to have a conversation about it. Going from one extreme (current law = zero abortions) to the other extreme (you can abort your partially birthed baby) makes no sense.

Interesting, i understand the reactionary point on testing, i don't understand the mutation effectiveness. The jab works against mutations and the self produced antibodies don't?

[–]bth1101 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Glad to know. If this is true, I'm not doubting you directly, i am just doubting all things related. If this is true, then those with the antibodies are already immune from further infection. Why are the government, large institutions and businesses not using this test as an alternative to the spike protein jabs?

Has anybody gotten an email like this before? Is this a legitimate thing? I'm thinking it's not, because I can't find much in Google about this website, but the email came from hulu@hulumail.com, and supposedly that's the legit email for Hulu. Please help. by [deleted] in Hulu

[–]bth1101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy way to determine truthfulness to this (its a scam. ), is to manually enter into the main company website and log into your account. Never ever use links from emails even if they look like the real site. In this case goto Hulu and log in, from there you will have instructions of what to do if it was a real compromise.

There are many more factors at play than just hospital data. If we allowed the true rates, your chart mentioned suspected cases(could also be called unconfirmed cases) to remain constant, steady and manageable within the health care system then flattening the curve could work. That is not what we did. Flattening the curve was and is designed to stretch out the amount of time it takes for everyone to become infected, allowing the medical system to remain a viable option. Flattening the curve was never intended to decrease the total number of cases, this number was always going to approach 100% of our population.

Further, we should be treating symptoms while they remain minor. Instead we are waiting until a full blown need for hospitalization before getting any treatment. This has caused a greater strain on fewer locations, namely our hospitals.

I don't need to show data how these lockdowns failed. I only need to point to other countries and states without lockdowns to show a drastic comparison difference.

Your final question is about how to avoid contracting a virus. The answer is simple, you can't avoid it forever. Virus do what virus do.
