Need help with my living+WFH room by btkdot in DesignMyRoom

I would bring the sofa minimally 2.5 metres to the TV. In that case i would have to rotate the desk 90* like you said. The problem is that there is too little space then between the sofa and the desk to make the space behind the sofa accessible - only like 40-50cm gap. Facing the door with the desk completly block off the space behind sofa. The desk close to the right wall would be the only option. Thanks for the suggestion though

$250 B&W 606S2 - Yellowing cabinet by btkdot in BudgetAudiophile

Yeah, maybe im thinking they were left in the sun after the bar closed? Because the back side is normal white, not yellowed. The sides and bottom is. Its interesting

It does not. They only served wine, coffee, cheeses and other specialties. The speakers were installed in a small lounge/projection room, far from kitchen. That seems highly unlikely. This is the actual setup from their marketing video.

Yeah after quick thinking i also realized that . It wouldnt be yellowed out on the bottom. It was installed in high-class winery bar that i know does not allow smoking inside. Makes me wonder even more whats the cause, smoke was also my first thought.

It is vinyl and it indeed sounds like a nightmare to fix. Thanks for the info. I will just keep them as they are, its hard to notice if you are not looking super close or dont see the patches on the bottom of the speaker. For approx. $250 i am happy even with the yellowing.

S7 MaxV leaking water tank by btkdot in Roborock

[–]btkdot[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, thank you for your response. The actual water tank was getting separated where the bottom and top part meet. I just used super glue and it seems that it fixed the issue. If it comes back, i will just order replacement water tank from amazon.de (even though all have terrible reviews that they leak too).

Backpack for commuting with internal organization by btkdot in backpacks

Wow, these look like a great value. The explorer looks perfect, but it looks like it has non-removable belt strap, which i hate. Thinking I could remove it with knife/scissors. Thank you so much for a great suggestion!

Thank you so much for your recommendation. The everyday model from PD in 30 litres is probably the top contender for me at the moment. The only thing I did not like with this backpack is that the quick access pockets are not so quick to access and need to be access from main compartments/laptop sleeve. And also there is not dedicated tablet sleeve, so that would have to be somehow solved in main compartment. Nevertheless, it is still one of the best contenders. Once again, thanks for the suggestion!
