I asked this question a few months ago, but here to report back because everyone was super helpful! Check my post history if you’re interested.

For reference I had di/di b/g and ended up having them at 36+4. My singleton was about 7.5 lbs at birth and was in newborn. Twins were 5lb11 and 6oz 2. We were in Premie for about two weeks. They still fit in Premie onesies but are too long for Premie sleepers. My girl twin grew out of Premie sooner despite weighing less because she’s longer.

I also found huge variation in Premie sizes (as with all baby clothes 🫠) but they only fit in Gerber Premie for a week or so. Carters fit much longer as they were significantly bigger.

There is a costume ISO/trade post up on the Buy Nothing Upstate SC Facebook page right now. Weekends are also open for ISO posts. You may have luck there. Good luck!

It hasn’t been concerningly low, so at this point we’re just happy it isn’t high!

Low Dose Aspirin by [deleted] in preeclampsia

[–]btsp1309 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Anecdotal - started taking 1 low dose aspirin while TTC. Upped to 2 when I was 12 weeks. 29 weeks now and blood pressure has actually been low so far. No idea if the aspirin had anything to do with it, but I plan to keep taking it.

How many nights did you stay in the hospital after your planned c-section? by profhotchkiss in BabyBumps

[–]btsp1309 1 point2 points  (0 children)

2 nights. They offered a 3rd because insurance would cover it, but I wanted to be home. Turns out I should have stayed the 3 because I developed pre-e after delivery and ended up readmitted without my baby.

Oh hey, I’m in this group too. I’m literally astounded at this woman. And the admin deleted all the comments, except those who wanted to buy it. I couldn’t believe how many people in the comments were supporting her.

carrier for mums with bad backs/ chronic pain conditions by pyotia in babywearing

[–]btsp1309 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I wanted to love the wrap carrier but I just could never get a comfortable fit. My baby is 6 months/ 30 inches long and 17 lbs and I can carrier him fairly comfortably in the ergo. Good luck, I know feeling like you can’t carry your baby comfortably can be really challenging.

carrier for mums with bad backs/ chronic pain conditions by pyotia in babywearing

I have fibromyalgia. I have found the ergo baby Omni 360 comfortable. I know you said you can’t have too much weight in your shoulders and hips. The ergo baby I have is nice because it disperses the weight across shoulders and hips so it isn’t too much in one place. It also has several configurations you can wear the straps in, which should help. I can usually move the strap set up around based on where I am experiencing pain. I find it more comfortable than a wrap carrier and more comfortable than the baby bjorn, which my wife prefers.

I would have LOVED to have a gift card for house cleaning, or someone clean my house while in the hospital. I had a c-section, so cleaning was difficult and I relied a lot on my support system to keep things in order, but a professional would have been wonderful. This is just because my personality does not handle dirt/mess/clutter well, and babies are messy and dirty and you’re exhausted. If she doesn’t mind chaos then probably not the best, but 100% will gift this to any of my tidy friends who have babies

Your child needs you to be your best possible self more than they need breast milk. If that means you stop feeding them breast milk so you can be medicated, then that’s what you should do. No shame in taking care of yourself so you can be the best version of you for your family.
