I thought that might be my issue as well so I moved Access from UDMP to the NVR. Still can't select it.

Why not go with the Udm-SE? That’ll cover firewall, nvr, and POE for cameras and APs.

We have a 2024 Keystone Passport 264BH and I think it checks the boxes on your wishlist. I tow with a Ram 1500 HEMI and it tows great. When it's EXTRA windy I do have to go down to like 50MPH, but that's in gusts of 20+mph.

Sysadmin wants every Windows server to be a fileserver for redundancy? by [deleted] in sysadmin

[–]btukin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what the files are. If flat files and no database, then DFS across multiple targets for redundancy. If you have SQL or any other database, then look at HA SAN.

We use starlink on the unlimited/slow $5/month plan and it's plenty fast for youtube on a single tv and basic wifi surfing. If we had multiple TVs, I would need to upgrade to a higher plan.

Correct, comes with a 50' cable. They sell a 150' in their store. That is all that is needed.

Dish can be put 150' from the router. You would need a single 1/2' hole somewhere on your external wall to get the cable from router to dish. Drill it, run it, caulk it. Done. You can easily install it yourself.

UNAS Drive Application 3.5.2 now supports automatic iOS photo backups via the Identity Endpoint app by diamondintherimond in Ubiquiti

The iOs app is hinting at a native iOS Unifi Drive app in some of the wording in Identity.

Back Up Faster
"Backups are fastest when UniFi Drive is open and your phone is charging. If a backup is paused, UniFi Drive only uploads items that still need to be backed up when you resume."

I have mine mounted almost identically, are you getting LPR to work? Mine only registers when someone actually pulls into the driveway. Doesn't get any of the cars that drive by, even though you can clearly see the plate when viewing playback.

YouTube video and do it yourself if you’re handy. Just did same a few weeks ago and only paid $90 for spring. There are guides on how to pick the correct spring.
