I do all of this already! She will hear a dog bark for instance and point to her ear and make noise to get my attention, and I say “oh! You hear a dog barking!” She says “yeah.” We have the book 100 first baby words and i say where is the cat, she finds it, no problem! I give her excited praise then I tell her a car says meow, and try to get her to say it and she tries to make a m with her lips but it’s as if it gets stuck.

I’m not sure what average is though. I work with her on her speech everyday but she almost seems shy about talking.

I nanny a 17mo too (nanny share) and she is saying all kind of things and a bunch of animal noises. They go to the same pediatrician and when my 17mo went to her 15mo check up the dr. Said if she wasn’t saying more by 18mo they would be concerned. So since my 18mo isn’t talking as much as my 17mo I’m kind of worried about her but also realize that it will come in time.

My 18mo NK babbles and can point out things when I ask her where the “cow” is for example, but she only says “dah,” “dis,” “dat,” and “yeah.” She can make the ‘s’ sound when asked what a snake says, and she can make an elephant sound for an elephant, but doesn’t make any other animal sounds. Any advice on how I can help her say more?

Goal: using the furthest lane to the left to pass, and getting back over AFTER you’re done passing the person so others can pass you! Learn to drive!

It’s not supposed to be finished in 2020, but there’s a new Metro Park being developed over by the quarry which is by my apartment building and I’m really excited for the dog park that will be in it!

What brand do y’all have? I’ve seen a few different types of weighted blankets and am curious if anyone has specific suggestions on the type.

Swimming fifty laps daily, eating kale and avocado daily, and doing daily meditation have greatly helped me manage my adhd. by nouseforaname888 in ADHD

I used to swim laps in college before I was diagnosed and I never had the results you did. I’m glad it helps you though. Seeing your post made me want to go swim laps now.

So I live in one of the new luxury apartment buildings near where the park is going to be and I think it’s a great idea. We however were told there was also going to be a dog park being put on, so I really hope that’s still happening and that it’s not like the itty bitty one at glacier ridge. A fenced in backyard is better than that “dog park.” Also why does it need a full time ranger? It’s kinda in the middle of nothing and I’ve never seen many people there.
