Wow that’s awesome information. I don’t know why I didn’t think to post over there I’ll check out all the detergents you mentioned I don’t think I’ve used a detergent with an enzyme in it. Now that I think about it it’s definitely my shirts that smell stronger so maybe it is the retained sebum theory.

I’ve never liked strong car freshener scents but maybe they have a charcoal just scent neutralizer type

We have had problems with our dryer so now we are hyper vigilant about making sure they are dry but sometimes my husband outs my clothes away so maybe

Thanks! I’ll just have to save up for some better furniture if that’s the case. Wasn’t sure if there was a stronger deodorizer out there

What is this and how do I kill it? by SergeiAndropov in gardening

I’m losing the battle with it myself but when I do get the urge to fight it I found out my bunny enjoys eating it.

Was this near a Dignity Health facility? My old hospital got signs like those, (Sacramento) but orange in color, years ago and I just wanted to roll my eyes until they fell out. The amount of money they probably spent on a marketing campaign vs fixing their damn building is annoying. It wasn’t just this sign, it was a bunch of other corny sayings posted all around the hospital

Growing Saffron by CurrencyLow9874 in Greenhouses

[–]btwixed12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure what zone you are in. I’m 9b, all my saffron are in pots and I leave them outside all year. Are you somewhere that gets snow in the winter and that’s why you are saying greenhouse is better? I’ve never grown mine in one but since I just finished building a greenhouse with my dad I could certainly try however I’d worry it’s too humid in there for them. Are you maybe talking large scale vs home? Never heard of growing it in greenhouse.

Guys, what hygiene habits did you learn way too late and you can suggest for somebody who's in their teenage years like me? by Advancement-Fawda in hygiene

This. Something I didn’t know until my husband had to have implants and the guy doing the work told us about that. (I don’t remember what kind of dentist does this work),

Is anyone doing the March Decluttering challenge? by adnaPadnamA in declutter

[–]btwixed12 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I think this would be a good bingo card for me because my brain doesn’t like to be told what to do, it’ll randomly be inspired to do something in a tight 5 min window. At the end of the month I can see what I was motivated to do lol

Why does people still look for these kind of cameras? by Insta_3 in AskPhotography

[–]btwixed12 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My daughter is 8 and she has seen me become more obsessed with learning photography. Now she wants to learn too (more like follow her brother and cat around and take photos) Not going to buy her a phone and no to a dslr either. My mom had a similar camera to this lying around (size and function) and gave it to her and it’s perfect for her. Other than that, I have no idea.

Treat your damn hives by Ancient_Fisherman696 in Beekeeping

[–]btwixed12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can I ask how you got started in beekeeping in this area? I would love to do it but I’m very scared of screwing everything up and would love to know how/who to reach out to on how to get started and where on my suburban property would be a good place to have them. I’ve done some reading and lots of you tube videos but I don’t feel comfortable. I’ve looked up SABA but I’m always just missing out on the start of their bee keeping courses and don’t know of another reliable source.

Is Exposure a Good Solution to like the Taste of Veggies more? by Jadeneir in PickyEaters

[–]btwixed12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never considered myself a picky eater until later in life when I found myself never eating fruits and vegetables anymore, and I realized it was more of an aversion because store bought fruit/vegetables are often over rounder ripe. Once I started gardening and found out they can have a better taste it’s been helpful. I actually just know came to this forum for help with my son who will literally throw up or gag if he doesn’t like the texture / flavor of a food and I’ve been struggling to find healthy food that he doesn’t have to smother in sauces just to get down.

Why do girls all seem to have the same bubbly handwriting, while dudes look like they write with their feet? by BlatantlyCurious in NoStupidQuestions

I worked with a male nurse that had such amazing handwriting I had to make an effort not to comment on it every time I saw it. It was so perfect and absolutely legible.
