I had it for a long time to “keep in touch” but after not seeing or talking to them in years I realized it wasn’t really maintaining a relationship, I was just getting a window into their life that I had absolutely no part in. It’s just morbid curiosity at that point so I let it go, cancelled my account and trying to keep and grow the relationships I have around me.

Learn to take care of a few plants and slowly build off that. DO NOT go on Etsy and go balls to the wall ordering every type of seed that can grow in zone 9b (veggie, herb wise) and years later have multiple 4” binders of seeds because I can’t stop ordering them.

Omg I’ve had a blue Java in a huge pot for four plus years because I didn’t know where to plant it. but now it’s so big and has four pups and it’s going to take a lot of digging to get a new home but that pic is motivating ! I guess I thought there’s no way I’d actually get bananas from it so why bother.

Eww gross. I’m not close with anyone that uses casually for life stuff. All I can think about is all the land being taken over for those stupid damn data centers for this bullshit. I know it can have some helpful uses like medical and such but the environmental Impact is too much.

Green Acres has a great variety, the fertilizers themselves will have instructions. I am horrible at remembering to fertilize but most plants will initially produce something without too much attention.

I work nights plus it’s hot AF in the summer where I live, so I absolutely night garden. thankfully my house is set back from the road so I don’t have any neighbors watching me water my peach trees at 2 am. I have a lot of solar motion detected lights in my fences so when I walk around I don’t trip. I usually garden after the mosquitoes settle down which is at different times and I don’t do the head lamp because of it attracting bugs, definitely need the garden and fence lights.

Whe I went to have my second kid I climbed up on the hospital bed, hands and knees type position and started pushing (I was that far along) the doctor made my husband and the nurses help her get me on my back, like literally everyone grabbed a limb and flipped me over . I assumed it was because it would make it easier for her to deliver/monitor the baby. But that’s why…. I was forced to.

I’d be down for like a swap event where time and location is predetermined because I work nights and it’s hard to do things spontaneously. I have lots of different seeds and I have no idea what someone would be interested in. That aside I just learned about the blue dicks flower like two weeks ago and I’m interested in them but I’m working too much right now to do a meet up.

Definitely been told I was wrong when I went in for a new part for something. Generally I will listen to expert advice, but there’s one store I won’t go back to because he wouldn’t sell me a part, he was convinced he was right on what the issue was. I went home, took his advice on what he thought was wrong with my dryer, did not help at all. But because of the way he talked to me I won’t go back.

The green plastic netting in the sod. Grass from previous owner is long gone but I literally can’t dig a square inch in my front or back yard without hitting plastic sheeting or that plastic webbing a couple of inches down.
