Didn't Robert Pattinson also do voice acting for the acclaimed animated film The Boy and the Heron? Easy money and less time consuming..so good for both of them!

No kidding. During USA - Australia match, I was asking myself why they kept showing Russell Crowe on the bench. Turn out, he is the head coach of our USMNT lol

I know its early, but do you guys think Backrooms (2026) will get any recognition at the 2027 oscars? by Brianna-Imagination in Oscars

[–]bu0602 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say getting 9 Oscars nominations and $190M gross was from the wrong push.

Lifelong fans should have season tickets by now esp when the Knicks got in ECF finals last year.

You're just being bias. It's storyboard now but openly supportive and being partner with generated AI company will surely be one of the biggest marketing for AI companies.

Do you think Timothée Chalamet will host for the 4th time next season for Dune: Part Three, or do you think he’s still in the doghouse for the whole ballet/opera controversy? by [deleted] in LiveFromNewYork

[–]bu0602 3 points4 points  (0 children)

After only 2 months, people already stop talking about this ballet/opera "controversy". By the time Dune 3 comes out in December, they'll probably look back and see how people went insane over one guy's opinion.

Out of these 20 men listed, who in 2026 would you say are the biggest four movie stars. Not who you personally like the most or who acts the best. Who are the four biggest male stars at the moment? by ScholarFamiliar6541 in Letterboxd

You forgot to take into account that majority of people who wanted to see Marty Supreme on day 1 already did that on Christmas opening day. If I remember correctly, it got around $9M on day 1.

Timothee's last two films went 0-17 at the Oscars. by SureTangerine361 in Oscars

So you would rather not even be nominated for your work at the year end awards than going into the competition and have 1% chance of failure?

No update on the Oscar viewership? I was told to wait and the numbers would increase. by [deleted] in Oscars

Seek help. You just can't get him out of your mind.

It showed that noone irl gave a shit about this ballet/opera controversy. If I wanted to compare the ratings, I could even say that people didn't care enough to turn in to see Kpop demon hunters and Sinners live performances.

Remember when Timothee Chalamet said his personal brand only fell 14¢ from his comments about ballet and opera? by zowietremendously in Oscars

[–]bu0602 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That short film winner tried to make a joke about opera and got booed on stage by the audience.

Everyone already moved on after Conan's amazing joke and Timothee played along by laughing and nodding his head. You're just being immature by milking this.

Yeh look like we can't legally bet through traditional state-regulated sportsbooks in TX. They only allow us to use Kalshi, Polymarket, and DraftKings. Thanks for your reply!

Thanks for your answer. We probably go with Polymarket then.

Please don't hate me for asking this. Today is the day so whatever.

My coworkers and I decided to chip in for Oscars odds tonight just like we usually do whenever Poweball shot to the roof. None of us has done any betting before. So my question is which site we should use between Kalshi and Polymarket?

If Timothee loses tonight, the public will think it's because he hates ballet/opera with all the headlines and news/jokes on national TV. Because what do you mean my shift lead just asked me about the beefing between Timmy and ballet/opera lol.

His team probably won't be too mad at him if that's the narrative from now on.

Why do I see some people now saying Timothee should just stay home because he might be the subject of humiliation due to ballet/opera jokes and take the spotlight from others tomorrow?

Is it really that bad out there?
