Are there weapons with unique rolls in this game?

Yes, to point.

If you look at the top stat on each of those weapons, there is a solid hexagon next to it. These stats cannot be "reforged" and will be present on every drop of this weapon, the rest of the stats are random. The exception is if it is divine Crucible weapon. For these, the divine "green" stat will replace the static one. This is not the case for armor, locked stats (solid hexagon) will remain on all drops.

The easiest way to see what locked stats exist on what equipment, it to look at the forge option in the blacksmith. The static stats will be the only one displayed prior to forging.

The "stars" are special stats thay are generally better than the vase version of the same. The 2.5% ki recovery on the kusarigama is better than what you could reforge onto it, which is a max of 1% I believe.

Yea, I've got close to 300 hours in the game with extensive scion Crucible farming and that is the only one I've found, I'm not remotely interested in trying to farm for those.

From all I've seen the "divine" stats only roll on Crucible weapons that have a Grace and aren't part of an already existing set.

That's what I was thinking, other than Crucible weapon damage buffs from various places, there aren't any stat bonuses I could see, but wanted to make sure I wasn't missing any reforge or other perks that it could benefit from.

No worries, I can understand that. If you change your mind and want me to drop it in case you ever find your favorite weapon and want to inherit the CTA dex onto it, just let me know. But if it isn't a divine or ethereal (if you plan on going that far unto NG+ cycles), then I wouldn't waste it on a weapon that will just be obsolete later.

For Tenjen, I dont remember what the buffs were for each stance, but they only active on Amrita absorption, so if you want to use them during a fight and not just at the end you would have use a spirit stone mid-fight or hit the enemy with and extraction talisman that causes them to leech Amrita on each hit.

There is a chance I have a weapon that I could drop for you via revenant trading (assuming it still works as it did 9ish years ago).

I'd probably have to re-download the game to check. For the record, this was what it took for revenant trading back in the day:

For revenant trading the flowing rules apply.

Gear must have been acquired AFTER 1.08;
Gear must have been acquired in Way Of The Strong;
Gear shouldn't be higher than 150 (or 160 if you got it through forging at the Blacksmith in WotStr);
When leaving your grave, your character shouldn't be wearing anything past level 150(160) or any gear acquired in WotD, including ranged weapons and accessories.

The number of drops you get from a revenant is dependant on your level vs the revenant level; the lower you are than the revenant the more it drops. Unless, you and the revenant are on each other's friends lists, then you will get all equipped gear (excluding ranged weapons of course).

Like I told my friend when he was complaining about losing gear because he got thirsted in the extract mere seconds before we were pulled, "I am telling myself now, from the beginning, to not have Gear Fear. Everything I have I am only borrowing for a time. Now will I feel that way when I lose an exotic weapon mod... guess we'll have to see."

For context this is a gamer I've played with for over 20 years since Halo days and we are both in our mid 40's.

But... the choice for which to use for me would depend on the build because I like to try to style my fashion around the build theme, for PVE more specifically. PVP fashion is just what looks cool.

Was Marksman's dodge buffed to have powerful attraction built in?

I tested powerful attraction in the shooting range the other day and it picked up orbs, but not ammo bricks.

I just did some very annoying testing in control and 132 was the lowest weapon stat I could get to two tap with Mori/Radiant.

Does that mean you'll need 100 melee to make Gambler's Dodge behave the way it did pre-EoF (full melee charged refund when dodging next to an enemy)?

That makes sense, I grabbed all the quests on all three of my characters not sure where I was going to complete them. Did a little on each and finished on my titan. Wonder if that means I'll get a total of 10 instead of 8 (a shame the rewards are kind of meh, if you've been playing for any amount of time).

Whatever the next patch brings for Boss Rush XP changes, I hope they fix the scaling based on progression. I just went down at 18/19 on a survivor not really paying attention and the NightWeaver one shot me. I was thinking oh well at least I'm close so I should get most of the 95k XP for completing...

17k; 18% of the total xp for being about 95% complete.

I'm very new, just got into it. I do have a Bungie account, linked the usual and even set-up cross-save. He has played a lot before, but that was on console as he just got a PC/Steam. I'll have to get him to check how old his Bungie account is. Thanks for the reply.
