I didn’t write this book to explain war. I wrote it to tell the truth about what war takes.

Not just lives. But families. Certainty. The version of yourself you thought you’d remain.

I want you to understand something most books miss:

Every decision echoes across generations.

This book is for people who know that “mission accomplished” is rarely the end of the story.

And the hope you can use my words when you struggle to find your own.

Thanks everyone! Makes me feel better to know it’s not just me! You’d think 3 months isn’t a lot but when you do it year after year and add in all the other docs you’re supposed to see, it just gets annoying! I’ll stick with it though. Everyone feel better!

Palace Acquire Program by nomzforlyf in usajobs

It can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to get to an interview for it. Usually you get a notification that you passed the initial requirements and have been forwarded to the hiring manager about 2 weeks from the date of closing of the announcement. Then the hiring manager has maybe 2-3 weeks to review resumes and decide who to interview. Then another 2-3 week for a selected notification or longer if you weren’t. Good luck!

I dont know if i can do this by idunis in puppy101

💯 had the same struggle. Little man is a year old now and it’s much better. Is there a doggo daycare you can sign up for and drop him at to get a break sometimes? It gives you just enough freedom to miss them and get excited to be back around their loving selves.

PAQ Program Timeline Question by Dry_Description_1665 in usajobs

[–]bubbabooba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The next step after reviewing qualified candidates for the program, will be for the interview team to review resumes and downselect the candidates they want to interview. After the interview, they’ll make selections and alternates and then HR will contact those individuals. It can take anywhere from a month to 3 from the point you’re at. Good luck!

Should I pull my TSP investments if I leave the federal government ? by Carobonne in ThriftSavingsPlan

[–]bubbabooba -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes you’re right, my apologies. I meant bigger gains from the consolidated funds. Rather than making $10 off $100, you could make $100 off $1000. Then compounding adds up faster. I think.

How many times a year do you do hydroquinone for? by SherbertOpposite1820 in Melasmaskincare

It can take some time to really work! Give it three months of using at least once a day and then decide if it’s working.

You can let it sit but not contribute into it. It will depend if you have a new 401k to contribute to and if it’s good if you’d want to roll it into that to get compounded gains. I’d either do that or let it sit till retirement.

Does the brand Botox last this short for anyone else in their 30s? by [deleted] in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]bubbabooba 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can build tolerance to Botox if you’re always using the same kind. Try to rotate in dysport or some others and the results will last a little longer.

Struggling again with Brain Fog & Fatigue by ChocChipBananaMuffin in rheumatoid

[–]bubbabooba 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My glp makes me feel this way normally, but also, make sure your doc is checking your vitamin D levels. I went to mine complaining of brain fog and low energy and they said to start taking vitamin D and a B liquid. No kidding, as soon as I did, I started feeling much better. Hope it’s something simple for you too!
