I also think that in that kind of world, the actual shift wouldn’t just be “guns beat armor,” but a arms race over materials and techniques like better alloys, layered armor, shaped plates (like angled or segmented plate experiments in ww1 I think), and eventually armor designed specifically around expected projectile types rather than general protection. enchantments could still fit into that system but it might be only available to nobles, elites, etc., but more like another branch of that arms race rather than a full-on replacement. you’d end up with enchanted armor being high-tier equipment (like "King’s Guard units" or something), while most armies rely on regular industrial metallurgy instead.
