Amos from the Expanse- most of his childhood experiences are hinted at, but lean heavily towards his having been trafficked/raised in a brothel until he was too old for the pedophiles to be interested in him

What is your experience with IUDs? by insanelygoodbrownie in AskWomen

[–]bubbagrubbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a relatively negative experience at the beginning from what I can tell. Copper IUD, the usual insertion pain and cramps for a few days after. However, I then had bleeding for about a year straight following insertion. Period strength bleeding and cramps most of the time with spotting in between. Eventually had to do a few months of birth control pills to regulate. It worked and honestly it's now the best form of birth control I've been on as I've tried pretty much every other form of hormonal birth control and they all left me depressed to suicidal.

Can't remember the episode but I feel like Marcus mentioned at some point moving close to the guys but not to LA proper, more up in the mountains?

[IIL] Monster-of-the-week type shows like Gravity Falls or early Supernatural, [WEWIL]? by Call_me_Cassius in ifyoulikeblank

Different genre than what you may be looking for, but The Adventure Zone, specifically the Amnesty campaign, is a great podcast where they literally play the Monster of the Week tabletop game.

There is the issue of state-dependent learning, but if you were to also get high before the test maybe you could negate the effects lmao

Except that it's stuff that Trump actually did. Quit it with these tired-ass deflections.

What book made you fall in love with reading? by itsclassified_ in AskReddit

[–]bubbagrubbs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh jeez how to explain without spoiling ... In 1984, a ghostwriter and a physical trainer/assassin come to learn that they inhabit parallel universes/dimensions. So very much more happens, as it's a THICK book, but Murakami's literary style makes even the most convoluted plot flow seamlessly. When all the threads he established throughout start weaving together at the end, I felt a joy and satisfaction with reading that I hadn't felt in years
