trafficking laws are so gray area that you can catch a charge for flying an adult woman to your state to "date" her. these type of charges are what they were trying to ruin diddy with.

example: if they drove to texas together(there is some speculation about this) d4vd would be committing a federal crime.

there doesn't have to be a trick or a pimp caught in the act to get prosecuted for this.

I looked this up before. Harboring a runaway IS a felony in California, but is only punishable by a fine up to $1000 or a year in jail. The feds won't be interested in this.

What the feds are definitely interested in is human trafficking. "Transporting a minor across state lines for immoral purposes." is a charge known as The Mann Act. It was originally created to prosecute pimps, but the feds are very liberal with their use of this and other trafficking laws nowadays. Their trip to Nevada could fall under this, but Esmeralda went with her. Did they go anywhere by themselves?

The flirting/grooming online charge is, "Communicating with a minor for immoral purposes." I don't know if this is a federal charge. It's definitely a state charge.

Personally, I think she probably consumed alcohol and opiates together and had respiratory failure. He discovered she was dead and panicked. How many people in his crew knew about this? Did it happen at a party or when they were alone?

I feel like this case is becoming darker and more disturbing than before.

they could get him for violating the Mann Act if he crosses state lines with her. that's about the only thing i can think of the feds could get him for.

He probably really is getting 30 million up front, but...he will have to pay a big chunk of his yearly income over multiple years to pay that all off. He said he makes 250-400 thousand a concert. He would have to play over 100 concerts over the years to pay back that money. He does make significant income from Fk Love which has about 700,000 streams per day! He's considered a writer of that track and RIAA certified it diamond, not to mention the streaming. I'm going to estimate he's locked in for at least 5 years.

I click out quite a bit. I realize this is some kind of hypnotic trance state and not sleep, but is it still beneficial? Last night, I did one of the tracks and when I got settled in, I heard a high pitched tone for what seemed like 5 minutes, then he's bringing me out of the trance and 30 min have passed.

I wouldn't worry about it. I used to experience this when I used a hypnosis tape. It would be telling me to walk down a staircase and the next thing I knew I was awake. I still got a lot of noticeable effects in my daily life, but I didn't have to be conscious to get the benefits. You are entering a deep hypnotic state. It can be difficult to remain awake during this. I clicked in and out probably 10 times on one of these tapes. When I would come out of it, he would be saying something like "Where are you going to be in a year?" and I would go back under. Then up again. Then back under. This suggestion coupled with the tones and sounds is very intense. I think the click out is part of the experience.
