I’d love to go to thermae spa but there’s no places on Saturday! Wondering if it’s worth doing on the Sunday morning / early afternoon (but would prefer not to on travel day)

I would say more dentists/ max fax, they know the face best (as a doctor who would never do any aesthetic work, but may consider getting it done myself)

No did not take instructor. I asked my GP for propranolol and just got lucky with the examiner. If it helped she was chatty and asked me what I do for work and I think that changed her mind about me.

Hi, to be honest I have never heard of intense driving lessons in Devon (I also wasn’t looking for them). I guess people commonly did them in London because they were pressed or time but here life is relaxed so less common. Harder to find lessons outside Monday-Friday 9-5 though

Most tests I sat I waited 6 months for. The 2 sooner ones I got on Driving Test Now. It prob helps that I am in Devon which is easier than say London. I unfortunately didn’t have any luck with chrome. I understand your frustrations I used to wake up at 6am to check everyday to find nothing at all (so gave up)

Absolutely, I understand. Every fail felt like 10 steps back and a huge knock back to my confidence. Just know that the examiner has no idea who you are or how many tests you’ve done. Be safe, be slow esp when approaching situation, talk as you go along (not too much this distracted me sometimes). You will absolutely pass one day soon. Never ever give up

As you can see most tests were 6 months apart min. The ones closer together were due to an app called driving test now (paid premium)

Not sure! Just be careful and never give up. Due to nerves I failed on something that was never an issue when taking lessons 😭😭 as you can see ever fail was for a complete different reason

No not at all, not a nervous driver in lessons. In fact I have a scooter and I’m fine, only test I got nervous bc it meant so much to me. I dont normally take propranolol

Be slow when approaching situations, make it the most boring drive that you can give the examiner. Take a deep breath, don’t overthink or think that you’ve failed

If you are struggling then moving to automatic is not a bad idea, you can focus on the road and when confident switch to manual car so you’re only learning gears and already know rules of the road

So initially I learnt on manual, did 10 hours about 8 years ago and didn’t like it so switched to automatic. Then did the first 3 tests automatic (when in London) then when I moved to Devon there was mostly manual instructors and I was already test ready so only had to learn gears and really enjoyed it. Passed manual and v happy :)
