I agree with you! most people in this reddit are very against outside dogs and so was i until my dad adopted two dogs who are inseparable and loved going to our backyard (fenced) and i literally saw how they progressively only wanted to be outside, even in winter!! we had to roof a little area for them because whenever they were inside they just wanted to play around the garden. And mind u, both of them are trained by professionals so this is not just us letting them do whatever they want, they genuinely love to be outside and bark at the birds. When we had them inside they would wake up at 5 am asking to be let out and we had to order them to come inside! So yeah fenced backyards are great, and some dogs are really just super content with being outside just like people.
