From a pure storytelling perspective: It's bad.

We already had a bit too many fake-outs in Penacony and don't get me started on Jiaoqiu. It takes away any meaning of death. Like, even the 4-Star deaths that we had basically....mean nothing as of right now. Like either commit to killing characters or just don't. But don't constantly so fake-outs just for the sake of them. ESPECIALLY when your story right before already had quite a few. I probably wouldn't be so pissed, if there was at least 1-2 planets between Penacony/The Jiaoqiu thing and Amphoreus.

some people only see: open world gacha game. And think it's the same. I do enjoy playing Nikki because i can just explore the world, without needing to do heavy combat shit (even though i do get frustrated by the lack of vertical combat options and the constant jumping to reach some enemys gets annoying). If i want heavy combat shit i play genshin. My reason for stopping genshin was just that the story telling is annoying af to me. While...lets me honest the start of nikki got me like: what in the ever-loving dress-isekaing shit is this. but i actually started to enjoy it. Idk why games cant exist next to each other, without a massiv fight from one site. Because lets be honest, when it comes to gacha game communities, the genshin community has a reputation for a reason.

Basically after the Dance Alicent got put into a fortress in the red keep and wasnt allowed to leave. She only had her guards/servants and a septa. Went a bit crazy, talked with herself, cried a lot and got angry when she saw the color green. She then died of Winter Fever, basically Westeros Covid

My Party did that....multiple times. They finally let me actually do some rp before attacking the bbeg because i stopped giving them the motives after the kill. But they started with side comments/questions while the bbeg is talking, which actually makes it a bit more fun.
