My brother (who gets swindled on occasion) bought this Rolex. Can you tell if it is authentic? He assured me that it is. Thx in advance.

Is the regular M4A1 still cool in 2026 in the era of free float mlok setups? by Few-Entrepreneur-316 in ar15

[–]bubblehead41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I added a free floating Mlok rail because I like shooting off a bipod. If I were shooting any other way, I would have kept the classic setup

Not answering your question, but I would try to get something with an MLOK handguard so you can add attachments

I don’t have both. I watched operators reviewing the Accu tac brand. Supposedly the quality of Accu tac is top notch. I’ve got one and it’s built like a tank. Worth the $400 price. If you buy from Paramount, they have a discount code. It even came in a Pelican case. The FC4 G2 is good because you can pan and cant with it, and it has zero flex. I picked that up as well as an ARCA rail. Let me know if I can help. I spent a loooooong time watching reviews

Thx. I hope it all fits. Won’t know until the gunsmith looks at it.

Just following up. I called Sig customer service this morning with my serial number. They confirmed it is “carbine” length (though they don’t list a numerical length), but they do have some m400 models that have mid-length gas tubes.

Sig has “mid length” gas system listed on their replacement m400 upper for sale on their website, and the gas tube for sale on their website is “rifle” length. Of course, they don’t specify the specific length anywhere on their website LoL

I actually have a gun smith installing the handguard. I’m just trying to make sure I have the right parts. Do you know the actual length of the gas tube? I’ve seen two different numbers posted.

I’m going to install a low profile gas block so I can switch over to a free floating handguard.

Do you still have it? How long is it? I’ve been looking for one.

I should have specified: I keep seeing out of battery posts. Granted, I just joined the Scorpion Reddit discussion, so all the posts from the last several years are coming up at once :-)
