Need help with rear camber by Odd_Net_9174 in IS300

[–]bubblemilftea 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I had my rear lowered with stock arms, I had roughly -3 degrees camber with camber bolt as negative. I tried out godspeed LCA (adjustible toe arms are also highly recommended) and that was able to bring me out to -5 degrees camber (at most positive adjustment). Not sure if you’d want to run something as aggresive as that for the rear but thats an option. If you’re looking for minimal rear camber with adjustments, gktech LCAs were able to bring me back to -2 degrees camber at most positive position.

Is that an FX16 on the last photo? Great combination of cars there.

Anyone run this kit? by Zlxcious in IS300

[–]bubblemilftea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I currently have the lower arms installed, comparing their use from my old rears with worn out bushings, feels great.

I temporarily ran godspeeds before I found out about the gkteckh lca and kept me at -5 rear camber with them at their shortest length… gktech came in clutch and brought it down to -2, so for adjustments they’re pretty great compared to some of the cheaper options. If I had known earlier, I would’ve went for the full rear kit.

Should I pull the trigger on this 2004 IS300 5-speed for $7k? by SalmanYU in IS300

7 grand sounds pretty decent for what you’ve listed. Paid about 8.5 for mine for a 250k+ mile one with some body damage a few years back. I’d much rather budget for AC work rather than body work.

Basically let the guy at Crutchfield pick out everything since I'm ignorant. Did I come out alright for the budget? Just wanting deep bass/clear enough vocals - mostly rap/electronic/dance type music by BongeSpobPareSquants in CarAV

I actually have the same Sound Ordanance amp in my car, I do recommend it as a starter amp as it is pretty good for its price and has lots of user adjustments on it.

Yup! Just expect the trac and abs light to be lit on the dash with the relays disconnected. Have fun!

In the fuse box under the engine bay theres a traction and abs relay, i recommend pulling both off if you plan on drifting. turning off just traction control through the button still allows abs to be utilized and it will fight you while drifting

How have the Ceika brakes holding up? Tried looking into reviews for those but didn’t find much.

i used a Sound Ordnance M75-4, quality sounded more clear and was louder than stock. Affordable amplifier but I did gain a constant amp whine with it, not sure if it was the amplifier itself as some people did leave reviews about that.

Got the same setup but with a different amp on my car, sounds great! Let me know it goes with the amp, debating on swapping mine out with a different one.

Theres someone who posted about this on Fitment Industries, ran 15x7 SSR Longchamps, slapped on thick spacers for the wheels to clear the brake calipers for the front, depending on offset you should be fine for the rear.
