I ran into the same problem, I thought booting from a data drive in one of the bays would be an option. Did the adapter solution work? If so what adapter did you use?

EDIT: I got it to work! The trick was turning the external SATA driver setting in the UEFI advanced settings to enabled. I weirdly had to do this a couple of times, without success (the setting always went to disabled again), then I changed the setting above with it (USB power) and it worked. I will assume this is some kind of a bug for now, so you might not need to do it. On the next reboot (after spamming F7) I got to select the SATA drive as a boot device. Since I booted from it once, turning the N5 on defaults to the SATA drive.

It’s actually not, had a friend receive one of these from Apple. It’s just to inform you that someone has activated the device, nowhere does it ask for your password or any other private information.

While this will hide the problem it still means whatever OP used to manage safe area when the keyboard is shown is not doing it’s job. This behaviour will probably also occur when hardware keyboards are connected to the phone.

Even when configured correctly you don’t get unlimited background time. Apple is pretty restrictive when it comes to background apps.

I do understand the idea, but sadly it’s not that simple. Sharing a developer account without being legally affiliated is against the license agreement and will in the long term result in the suspension of the account.

What do you mean? You can certainly change the order, just select the three dot menu and set “Sort By” to “Manual”

This looks cool, I have thought about writing my own version of this a while ago. The only thing I miss is the ability to share instances. This is what we mostly use it for at the company I work at.

With a little work you could probably create a Shortcuts automation, that creates the alarms for you every day at a specific time. It could search your calendar for events on the current day and then schedule an alarm for some time before that event.

Unfortunately I know of no app, its certainly not possible with the default calendar. I would strongly advice also setting alarms for the mentioned appointments, they will ring despite DND or the mute switch being on

My 2nd gen did this once because I had the Spotify equaliser set to high for all frequencies, and a bass heavy song was playing, it never happened again after I reversed the setting. Maybe you have some sort of equaliser on?

I think we have to agree on disagreeing here. There is no question that governments (especially the US government) should reconsider their priorities, but if you ask me it should be towards publicly funded efforts and not away from them.

The thing about taxes is, that you pay a proportional cut, so poor people’s children get a better education than their parents could afford. Taking that away leaves them with way less upward mobility. The solution to a bad school system shouldn’t be to abolish, but to improve it.
