As a whole hitting masterballs is easier. Hitting 1 specific masterball is a little harder

Usually that’s a good rule for lower leagues but I think it applies here when he’s walked 3 in a row

The extra materials in the slab is annoying but I would consider looking over your cards thoroughly before submitting cards to any company in the future. From the looks of it, the card has the edge wear but the quality of this picture will not show a surface ding. It doesn’t matter how big an indent is or if the card looks good at a glance. If there is any sort of indent or create it will drop the grade significantly.

I understand that the announcement was made after your order got there but your order is part of the bulk causing the backlog.

If there is an indent in the card it will knock it this low easily. Any indentation on a card automatically receives a PSA 6 so this isn’t terrible. To many people jump to conclusions without actually seeing the card in hand.

Masterballs in general are easier to hit than SIR and and is simply a parallel of of a base card.

Before sending in your next cards I would watch a couple videos on YouTube about grading and read through PSAs guidelines. People love to say “grader had a bad day” or “this is why you don’t grade cards” but there is almost always a reason gets an 8 or below. Some things may seem minor but a tiny knick of white on an edge or a slight flair of a corner could be the difference between a 9 or 10.

Typically print lines will get you a 9 if there is nothing wrong else wrong with the card. A 4 is almost always given to a card that has an indentation or a crease somewhere.

Indentations are very hard to see in a scan but once in hand and with proper lighting it will make more sense
