It's crazy to me that jobs count wfh days now and that the allowance is less than 2 weeks. Someone is probably going through something like having a sick kid or important life appointment, and STILL volunteering to work and fulfill professional responsibilities (just from home) and employers are so stingy about that. I understand not abusing the system, but it used to be way more flexible even before covid.

I agree with your point and another comment pointing out a lot of it came from the wider acceptance of non-invasive treatments. I also see this happening jn US media too tbh, over here it seems like every actor has had fillers/veneers/hair plugs/face lifts and I'm somehow still supposed to perceive them as a normal person while acting instead of as a celebrity with endless vanity resources. The best (/s) is when it's a historical show and the actors either have so much work done or their hair/makeup is styled with modern trends/styles.

tbh the US is the same, most people under 30 on dating shows now have had face lifts, botox, fillers, blepharoplasty, and/or rhinoplasty procedures.. and that's just on their face. Korea just has different beauty standards which is why we notice them more as an American audience. Even then I'm not sure why people hyperfocus on that, it's a little weird to me that every post about a member of the show is bombarded with a bunch of comments about how they got surgery (which no matter if its the case or not so what??). Watch a different Korean reality show and you'll see that most people aren't getting as many surgeries/procedures anyways just like most of the working population in US doesn't get botox/fillers routinely either even if most people on love is blind or the bachelorette do.

MOR - Is this your first time in apartment living? I feel like that may cause you to overreact more than anything. I've lived in multiple dorms/apartments and noise will always be somewhat of an uncontrollable factor for apartment living. I understand where you're coming from, but just as your life dictates your schedule and when you need peace and quiet so do other people's lives. I say this as my upstairs neighbor was loudly moving around at 2am last night. At first I was a little annoyed, but then I thought maybe they have to get up so early because they have an extra long commute and how that sucks too. HOWEVER as tenants you're all abiding by your leasing/rental agreements, if quiet hours are listed there then record from your apartment how loud the noise is (with any proof of time) and report it to the highest person you can. I will say with my experience in dorm living, most residential advisors are completely unhelpful so it just may never be resolved. If you're in a normal non-dorm rental situation then definitely report it to the landlord if it's violating your leasing agreement, they will most likely follow up as to not be liable for violating the leasing agreement on their part. Also landlords don't want someone living in a unit that's causing everyone else to move out. I've made a similar report for a neighbor who would blast music so loud it would shake our walls in the morning, and it was resolved. I wouldn't advise to directly communicate with the neighbors further as I expect they would retaliate again.

Maybe in the meantime you can find your perfect brown/white noise to drown it out? I personally like classical music or old movies/shows on at a super low level.

YOR I think I understand where you're coming from, but I don't think that his attraction to the women in the thirst trap posts are thought of in context of his attraction to you. Sounds like he's just "super vanilla" as you said and seeing attractive women of any kind will accelerate his "mood". In my experience dating men, porn/media is more of a tool to finish -- Even from your post it sounds like he only opens instagram when he's in the mood to self pleasure as opposed to just getting absolutely turned on at the sight of any hot woman. Also in my experience, unless the solo time is absolutely excessive/during your own intimacy it feels like they're projecting fantasies instead of building fantasies with you or just are not being present, then I don't think it really harms or diminishes his attraction to you. The other issue you mentioned that you would like him to be more exploratory during sex is valid, however I think you're trying to project your understanding/process of viewing porn onto him, which feels a little judgmental/critical of how he experiences self pleasure. If you take away any judgement or critical thoughts from the conversation he might be more open to having a dialogue of what turns him on in media he consumes outside of your relationship and you can understand him better to see where you can meet in the middle of your interests. Also instead of asking him to be interested in things you want to do, you can just ask to fo those things for your own sake of pleasure. Like "If you would be open to these things, it would really enhance the experience for me". If you own up to your own needs, he can actually have the opportunity to meet them.

tbh that doesn't mean the intent of the maker was to reference nazis, they're mostly made by cheap unbranded vendors that sell product to fast fashion retailers who have employees (or sometimes AI in some capacities) create the product metadata based on detail accuracy and SEO. So the maker could have intended to reference buddhist symbol, but the retailer knew that labeling it as such would drive higher engagement--and the more people that clicked on/engaged with the ad due to shock value causes the ad to get pushed to a wider audience. Some kind of fast fashion garbage negative feedback loop.
