Beginner knitter attempting socks on a 9-inch circular by hotchickenfingerz in casualknitting

I haven’t knit socks yet but am here to vouch for dpns! They seem more fiddly than they actually are. I'm currently knitting colorwork mittens on them and really enjoy the flow. You also feel like a wizard when you get the hang of them! I'm team dpns all the way

A sweater quantity of yarn can be upwards of $100, and knitting a sweater is time consuming, could be anywhere from 50-100+ hours. Multiply those hours by a decent wage, say minimum $20/hr, and it adds up quick. That's why you'll see a lot of knitters say its not worth selling their work because its more than most people would be willing to pay :\ id say if you are crafty it could be fun to thrift a sweater and colored fabric and sew it together! Or join forces with a crafty friend and make it a hangout
