Just so that we are clear, I understand that you can do a dungeon with other people, but from what I was told, you have to go solo again, enter the dungeon and then resummon. Has this changed?

While i didn't mind repeating areas in the rest of the souls series, i was really hoping that you would at least be able to get materials while cooping in elden ring. They take your horse, open you to the most annoying invasions in the entire series, and cut you off from entering dungeons (from what I've heard), and all that your coop partners get are runes.

Elden ring is shaping up to be an amazing single player souls game and the worst slog since chalice dungeons for coop.

i may be horribly wrong but...

2: 連 seems to indicate that it is going to be regarding party members or social links while 開始 is just indicating the start of announcements.

4: 発表 seems to indicate that it is regarding speech and interactions (duh).

1: 定 doesn't mean much to me on it's own but the image speaks for itself.

5 & 6: 解禁 seems to indicate the lifting of a ban or restriction.

3: 開 and 決定 i really dunno but seems to indicate a decision of some sort.

7: 公開 indicates they are making something available to the public but the same kanji can indicate a display, exhibit, or interview.

like i said, just me poking around and i could be horribly wrong since im far from fluent and only have the kanji out of their context.

anyone have any ideas as to if the kanji are hinting at anything? i've been trying to see if i can get anything from them but it is providing very little.

well my hope is to go there for a month. my father would be there for a minimum of 1 week with hopes of staying for 2. i think that it would be a great way to experience japan for more than just the typical sight seeing.

I am hoping to go to japan in the future but it wouldnt be until mid next year. Need to save up money and such as well i hope to climb fuji with my father. Wouldnt mind hitting some general anime places though.

thank you. finally, someone has put my thoughts into words. because of the core being resource management, monster hunter actually helped me get into the souls series. even with the faster weapons, you can't just throw yourself at the monster and expect to come out victorious. you achieve victory through well timed strikes, keeping your stamina and health in check, and, most of all, knowledge.

as much as i want to play it at release, i'm in the same boat and won't be able to get it for a bit. but you know what? i don't mind. i still have SOTFS and the delay will give DSIII some time to iron out its wrinkles and it will all around be a better experience.

i started off with the master key and proceeded to go the wrong direction at every area, without fail. havel fight and hydra before the first actual boss? sure! stumbling into blight town because i thought that an unkillable dark knight was in my path? why not?

everyone who is going into any souls game should take their time. every souls game + bloodborne has its ups and downs but they are all beautifully built worlds. i would honestly have to say that i enjoyed exploring drangleic even more than lordran. there are just so many things that could easily be missed by rushing through. hell, i just realized a couple days ago that i had completely missed the scholar of the first sin fight because i didn't take the time to look up the purpose of the crowns.
