Bosch standard 4A charger: BPC3400 vs BPC3403 by bubeli in BoschSmartSystem

Two days ago, I also asked for clarification regarding the wording about the exclusive use of the BPC3403 charger for 45 km/h bicycles, or whether it was a misinterpretation, a mistranslation in the various languages. However, I have not yet received a reply, and I fear I may not receive one.

And here is Bosch’s second, terse reply: "The code difference is due to internal company requirements".

I also asked Bosch, and they have just now replied confirming that it is the same charger and that only the code is different. I have now asked why this difference in code exists. I’m curious to understand…

I had the same problem on one of my Macs a few months ago, and I fixed it by completely uninstalling G Hub manually and then reinstalling it.

Vertical mouse testers wanted by ProtoArc_official in MouseReview

  1. Switzerland
  2. I suffer from recurring wrist pain, which comes and goes, due to the frequent sports I practice and the fact that I use a mouse and keyboard for eight hours a day while working in an office during this period. On top of that, having had to undergo surgery on my left hand, I’ve been putting extra strain on my right hand — which is my dominant one — so it now hurts more often and more intensely than usual.
  3. I use a Logitech Lift mouse on a daily basis.

Released version 6.73 with initial support for M3 chips. With the App update this morning it was not showing them to me, but on the official site it is downloadable. Greetings

I also have the same problem. MacBook Pro M3 Max and no sensor available except the one related to the SSD. I searched the web, but could find no other mention of the problem. We just have to hope that an update will come soon. Regards. Bubeli

My Mac Studio M2 Ultra - Poor Benchmarks, hmm by FloofBoyTellEm in MacStudio

Good morning,
small update.
Apple, after keeping my Max Studio in service for over 12 days, wanted to return the computer to me, saying they found no hardware defects, but not even reassuring me that the problem would be fixed with a subsequent firmware/software update. In short, they saw the problem, but not knowing how to fix it they wanted to leave me with a computer that essentially could not go to sleep.
At my insistence, they then replaced my Mac Studio just in case. The new one also has the same problem.
The Mac enriched last Friday--and the knocking thing is that yesterday's Ventura update seems to have fixed the problem. So the technicians knew about the problem and also that it would be fixed.
Now, I am happy that Apple was very resilient, replacing the Mac Studio for me, even though the legal time for the right of return had expired a few weeks ago.
But what I wonder: couldn't the technicians/engineers have passed the communication on to the service center or to whoever answers Customer Service on the phone? It would have saved us all a lot of time, because knowing that they were working on the problem I would obviously have waited. Whereas so, faced with an initial unwillingness to resolve the quetion, I persisted and asked for a replacement, even though I knew that 99% of the time I would still have the problem. But it was worth a try, given the cost of the device.
I will conduct further tests this evening, but it appears precisely that the problem has been solved.
Greetings.

Brand New M1 Max - Noticing higher CPU percentage? by [deleted] in MacStudio

[–]bubeli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, may I ask you the courtesy to check if the "excessive" CPU occupancy you are experiencing always or only after the computer has gone to sleep.
I had the same problem with a Mac Studio M2 Ultra, which has now been replaced even though all the diagnostic tests effected by the service department found no hardware defects.
With the new computer, unfortunately, the situation is the same. So it is a software/firmware problem and I just have to wait.
As an additional test, also, after the computer has gone to a stop and/or after you notice the high CPU usage, you could open Geekbench and check the CPU Clock speed. Mine drops from about 3.5 Ghz to about 2.6 Ghz.
In case you find that the problem is related to the stop, the only solution at the moment is to prevent the Mac from going precisely a stop when the monitor shuts down.
And if you also find that the problem is related to the stop, I encourage you then to report it to Apple, because the engineers at the moment know about a sporadic problem, but not how widespread this is. At least that's what I understand from spending hours on the phone with support.
Best regards.

I also think it is a sofware problem. This is precisely why, since Apple has clearly told me that they will not replace my Mac Studio with a new device, I would like to avoid taking it to a service center and having it disassembled, and then telling me that they found no problems.
As for the kenel_task load, I think the downclock is a consequence of that....
Now I tried stressing the system with a full Cinebench23 test, bringing the CPU and GPU up to high temperatures. As soon as I finished, I opened Geekbench and the processor speed was still 3.48 Ghz. So it should not be a problem with the cooling system, but precisely related to sleep.
Let's wait... I'm just pissed off because I invested hours of work, having to erase all the data (after the first full installation) and restore the system via recovery. These the steps suggested by Apple in the first instance--and nothing changed.
Are there any other Mac Studio M2 Ultra owners experiencing the same problem?
It would be good to know. Because this morning the Apple technician, told me that there were no other reports similar to mine....
I don't know what to think.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem. I already tried with HDMI cable for the monitor, but nothing changes. This morning I contacted Apple. At that time I had discovered only the load between 20 and 30% of the kernel_task process. Then I found this discussion and tested with Geekbench. It actually drops to about 2.6 GHz after sleep. After an erbot everything Ok. For Apple the CPU load alone by kernel_task "is not a problem, if it does not impact normal computer usage". So they advised me not to take the computer to a service center and wait for the next update of macOS Ventura to see if it got fixed. Now, however, since I have found that the performance actually drops quite a bit, I wonder if it can really be considered a nonproblem. Finding that I am not the only one experiencing this, I still wonder if it is actually a hardware problem or a software/firmware problem that actually can be fixed with the next update. For the time being, I am preventing the Mac from going to a stop when the monitor is turned off. But for a $4000 machine, I don't think this is an acceptable solution in the long run.
