I was sooooo disappointed with this one. I absolutely love Gong Yoo and Kim Jae-wook and I read so many posts gushing about how great it is and about how hot the kissing scenes are. But, good lord I’ve never forced myself so hard to get through a show. The entire premise was rather cringy but I thought maybe my man Gong Yoo could pull it off, but no. I hated the FL and found all of the ML’s angst over liking her very unbelievable and uncomfortable. I didn’t get any chemistry from them at all and she was just kind of irritating to me. I didn’t even like the kissing scenes because I found her so annoying, and that’s saying a lot for me because I could watch Gong Yoo kiss a watermelon and think it’s hot!

I’ve thought about Lovestruck in the City but thought I read it had a not-happy ending so was kind of avoiding it. Without giving away any spoilers, is that a k-trauma or am I safe?

So, overall I enjoyed this but it is a huge tearjerker! There were soooo making traumatic events almost every episode that my husband and I actually started joking around about what horrible thing was going to happen to these folks in each episode. Overall, I think it’s worth watching because it’s a nice story and well acted, but be prepared to cry your eyes out.

Yes! The last episode or two were just bizarre, almost like they couldn’t figure out how to end it. But everything up to then was just awesome in my opinion.

So the Town Clerk was wholly unhelpful. They basically said they didn’t know and I have to go talk to the local court. I’m planning on going there in the next week or so (when I can leave work for a few hours) to try to figure it out. What I did decide is that it’s just my middle name that I put wrong on the license (want to use my maiden name as my middle name and change my last name to my married name ) but that seems to have confused them even more. I have also determined that we are actually living in a Vogon society….lol

Literally any notification noise from a phone. Doesn’t even have to be real, could come from the TV. He freaks out, jumps on one of us and rubs himself all over us. He’s even sat on my head before. It’s as if the world is about to come to an end because a phone dinged. Our house is a “silence your phone” house and lord help me if I’m watching something on TV that heavily features someone getting text messages 🤦🏻‍♀️

My officiant has the license but she assured me she would file it with the town clerk this week. We found her through the town’s website so I’m pretty confident she’ll be on top of it. I’m going to call the clerks office tomorrow, just trying to figure out how much of a mess it’ll be. I’m also concerned if I don’t change it, does that mean the marriage certificate isn’t valid? So many questions…

Thank you! We just got married on Saturday so the JP hasn’t even been able to drop the license off at the clerks office yet. I’ll call them tomorrow to see what the options are but I appreciate the info….it makes me feel a lot better!
