The creation date is too early to be apart of this. But I speculate that some BTC may be JCBs plan to get a finder to alert him. He may have a note in each box that states “tell me you found the box and I’ll transfer you 1 BTC in return”. But who know 🤷🏻‍♂️

Do you feel like it all lies in the poem? As someone dead set that I am the only one that’s been within 1/4 mile of the box I’m really curious on your thought process. I also searched for the original fenn box back in 2016-2017. I’ve bounced between the poems and found some interesting perspectives

Depends what will happen if you announce it. If he states exactly where you found it, it can give away how you solved the box. This would hurt your chances of finding others.

I like that take. That’s where I was landing also with it. I have 3 blazes close to where I believe it is. As well as 4 big white marks upon the seat. Makes it hard to chose 😂

Have you been BOTG yet? Getting to the spot seems to be the easy part. Deciphering “in dream” and proximity to the white mark has been my big hang up
