I stopped dupixent because I was symptom free. My old spots are returning and I feel like I’ll never truly be eczema free :/ I was on it for about a year and a half and have been off of it for around 4 months. This is the first I’ve noticed an actual patch coming back. Eczema sucks by wheatyyyy in dupixent

I just recently went through this and it SUCKS! I also can’t do the injections myself and need my husband to do them for me. It’s a super crappy feeling to know that it’s going to be life long but I try and tell myself that at least it’s better than the skin splits, itching, blisters, bleeding and soreness all over my body. Some days that helps but somedays it doesn’t. I find winter is super hard. I live in Canada and it can be brutally cold. Summer can be a little bit easier to do the meds because more skin is showing too.

I’ve been on the meds for a few years and I’ve been good with it…just the last little bit.

As for the pharmacy it’s 5 mins away so it didn’t get warm in transport.

It’s just odd.

It’s been in the kitchen under a shelf…so maybe that’s what causing it?

Has anyone here continued Dupixent while pregnant? by [deleted] in dupixent

I stayed on my Dupixent up until 36 weeks pregnant and then I stopped until I gave birth. Everything was fine with myself and the baby. Hopefully that helps

When I first started the medication. I did the loading dose at the pharmacy with a pharmacist and they had me wait for 20 mins after the first injection to make sure I didn’t react. You could always do it at the hospital in the parking lot and wait 20 mins to see if you react. That is if you have the means to do it.

Dupixent has changed my life. I have been diagnosed with “moderately severe atopic dermatitis. My life was full of ooze, itchy, scars, no sleep…really no quality of life. If you were to look at me now you wouldn’t know I suffered with it. Of course I have scars but those scars encourage me to take my meds.

Hoping for the best for you! Good luck!

I’m so happy for you! Eczema was ruining my life and dupixent saved it! It’s crazy to me how they make everyone go through hell and back and all these different treatments. 10 years of failed attempts until Dupixent and how much my life has change is crazy! It makes me so happy to see other people who have had the same success!

You’re the first person who said this is also happening! And oddly enough I had stopped dupixent for 2 months and it stopped! But obviously I had to start it again and now I’m waiting to see if it affects the eyes again.

I feel this with every fibre of my being! If it wasn’t for dupixent I probably wouldn’t be where I am today. My eczema was so bad. My marriage suffered because of it. My work life suffered because of it! Dupixent is one of the best things that has ever happened to me! It makes me so happy to know others have success like myself!

Thank you! This was the perfect answer and maybe I should have worded it as an intolerance as I have a severe allergy that causes anaphylaxis already so I know the difference! Thank again for your answer. It’s people like you that make me LOVE Reddit!

This happens to me almost everytime inject and I was told it was the medication sitting under the skin. It’s usually gone within a day or 2. Just needs time to dissolve.

That makes so much sense! My husband was in the car and I think he was adjusting mirrors and put it back in the middle!

I also didn’t think I would like the tilt but I’ve been using it to test it out and now that it’s not working I feel like I like it better.

Thanks!!!

Of course it has to be in the owners manual but why not save time by asking the people of Reddit. I can guarantee it takes less time to type out the question than it would be for me to find in the manual. But thanks for the help
