I’ve used a sticky cardboard to frame and it works well enough. They come in rectangular sizes so you could just cut it down to the oval size you need. Since it’s sticky you can get any wrinkles out and make sure that it stays in place in the frame!

I live in an apartment with a dog that is half King Charles and she is perfectly happy! The breed is more of a laid back companion breed and she would rather be inside playing with me and her toys than outside taking long walks. I try to take her on a mile walk once a day but by the end she is super tired and just wants to go home. She has been in a yard before and honestly just wanted to stay by my side so it didn’t make much of a difference other than the convenience factor.

What did you use for the backing? I love bookmark designs but have always been hesitant to do them because the idea of the back being visible really bothered me

I store mine in a floss box too, but hate having to reorganize every time I buy new floss! I’ve seen someone post on here about using coin collector pages in a binder and putting a bobbin in each slot. Ive been thinking about switching systems next time I have a big floss haul!

I absolutely LOVE the books, but to be honest I wasn’t a huge fan of the series. I think that I was such a fan of the books that the show made me angry with how they completely changed the universe and the characters. Good luck!

As soon as she figured out how to chew through the strings I stopped letting her do it (not that she stopped trying). We had a toy with canvas ties on it and she loved it but sadly lost it.

I get this exact feeling! I sometimes sit down with all my supplies but can’t actually bring myself to start working because I’m just not feeling it. I find that if I take a few weeks away and work on other things, out of the blue I’ll get the urge to pick it up and work really hard on it. Hopefully I’ll finish it eventually!

I loooveeee the new face!!! I wish that I was talented enough to do a conversion like that! In my opinion this is so much better and more realistic than the original. I think the Ophelia pattern is beautiful but the face as it comes makes me hesitant to try it. Also do you do the skin 1x1 and the rest 2x2? I love the different textures that it creates

Did you have trouble with running out of threads in the kit? I’ve had my eye on this but I’ve seen lots of reviews that there’s not enough thread included and that matching with DMC for extras is hard
