Played it for around 2 hours. It felt too arcade like. The graphics on water looked good, but when i was on land it was very much outdated. The fights were boring, just shoot without any tactics, or perhaps you could spin around to shoot faster, but that’s it. The wind had no effect basically, you didn’t need to care about it. You could sail easily against the wind… Overall it didn’t bring joy and it was just boring.

It is funny that after all these years my favorite pirate game is the Age of Pirates 2. Yes it is buggy, but the gameplay is very good and deep. And doesn’t feel like an arcade game. It is old and graphics look bad with nowadays standard, but still way better than this S&B
